In the first part of this article, we saw two keys to understanding and maximizing God’s agenda of more than enough for His children. We looked at funding the kingdom and prioritizing the kingdom; in this part, we are going to see three more keys

Prioritize God’s Instruction

You may genuinely want to give, but just like the widow woman you may say, “Lord, I have nothing”.

Remember the question Elijah asked, “What do you have in your house?” this question is still relevant today; you may say, “I don’t have a house”, what do you have in your bag?, you may say, “I don’t even have a bag”, then what do you have on your body? When you constantly say, “I don’t have”, how then would you ever have?

The devil’s strategy is to give you a consciousness of your own pressing needs and give you the impression that you have a valid excuse for not giving. So, while others are writing cheques and sowing seeds, you are crying; “Oh! Lord, I wish I had”. Rather than always wishing you had something to give, answer the question: What do you have in your house?

provide the seed. Yours is to make a faith promise and wait for the seed. God gave Hannah a son when she made a faith promise. If you were the one with the ability to provide and you knew that it would be given back to you, won’t you give it quickly? The problem is that when God provides the money for your faith promise, you get so excited that you race off to spend it.

When God provides the money, the right thing to do is to redeem your promise right away; that way, you have fulfilled your promise. The

Make A Faith Promise The fourth key you need to experience more than enough is to make a faith promise. The widow woman said she had just a little pot of oil, and the man of God asked her to bring it. The account of Hannah (1 Samuel 1:1-2:21) is an example of making a faith promise.

When you have faith, you can do what Hannah did. Hannah was a beautiful woman; she had no children and was even scorned and laughed at. People may have been looking at you, and you've had nothing to give. Hannah was like that, but she made a faith promise: “Lord if you give me a son, I will give him to you”. She did not have anything, yet she was consumed by a passion to give. If you have nothing to give; make a pledge, say, “Lord, if You give me five thousand naira as seed, I will give it to you”. The beautiful thing about a faith promise is that it is God’s responsibility to

When your seed sown brings a harvest, you give again. You keep building the ark, and as you are building the ark, you are moving from being ‘the person who does not have enough’ to one who has more than enough. Hannah, had other children after she gave Samuel Back to God.

Be Bold And Adventurous In Your Giving The fifth key you need to enjoy more than enough is to be bold and adventurous in your giving. Can

you dare to have more than enough? Are you bold enough?

Only the bold and adventurous can have more than enough. The one who is afraid will always have just enough or not enough. There is a c a t e g o r y o f p e o p l e w h o a re comfortable with having just enough, and their needs are not even met. They have no problems with experiencing lack and shortage. These people believe they have more than enough, and will usually make remarks like; “I will just write a cheque”, but when it’s time to build the ark, they do not give sacrificially, they only give out of their abundance; this is foolishness!

Your realm of more than enough is nothing compared to Jehovah’s realm of more than enough. If you t h i n k y o u h a v e m o re t h a n enough, you are poor in the sight of Jehovah. The more your giving inconveniences you, the more it excites God; what excites God is not the amount you give but the way you feel when you give. The pain you feel when giving is what the Bible refers to in Psalm 126:6, “He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him”.

Dare to have more than enough as our Elshaddai has it. There is so much to accomplish for the kingdom, and you are a key player in the scheme of God’s agenda. Fund the gospel, prioritize the kingdom, prioritize God’s instructions over your needs, make faith promises, and be bold and adventurous in your giving.

When these keys are in place, you will experience and maximize God’s agenda of more than enough in your life.
