Danforth Care Homes Expands Portfolio with Opening of 8th Care Home Facility

Primrose House Care Home has had its grand opening in East Riding, with the ribbon cut by their first two residents The opening marks the 8th facility in the Danforth portfolio and the first in East Riding

The opening is set to create 60 new jobs for the local community all with permanent contracts In addition each of the jobs will also come with a fully funded DBS check and full support to aid staff in completing an NCQ qualification

Purpose-built by LNT the care facility for Danforth Care Group will be home to 66 residents who can enjoy amenities such as an on-site hair and beauty salon and sensory garden as well as a café bar library and cinema

In addition, the home has been built with the environment in mind, with several environmentally friendly initiatives throughout The home comes with an A energy-rating and a carbon-free status, meaning it operates without gas Instead ground source heating technology has been built under the site for underfloor and water heating as well as air-cooling systems and 80% of the roof of the home is covered in solar panels for electricity generation with an on-site battery to store excess energy for use at another time
