After the screening, audiences will have a chance to give feedback on the film they have watched. For information on the latest screening, please contact Box Office or look out for the Film Hub South East logo on our website!

GALLERY HELEN BUDGEN: SPLASH OF COLOUR 2 8 January – 9 February

We welcome back Helen who is an artist who enjoys the process of creating loose, colourful watercolours, mixed media paintings, prints and cards. Helen uses vibrant colours working on landscapes, still life, and best known for her nursery prints and animal commissions, capturing their characters through a bold use of colour and free flowing brushstrokes.

REBECCA JENKINS: ANT TO ZEBRA 10 February – 15 March

Rebekah Jenkins is a contemporary paper artist from Horsham. She recently appeared on the Channel 4 programme, Kirstie’s handmade Christmas. She creates animal art from the land, air and sea using an updated version of the technique of quilling. In this collection titled Ant to Zebra, Rebekah has created an alphabet of the animal kingdom showcasing how the quilling technique can produce so many of the colours and textures found in the natural world.

CATCHPOLE & MARSHALL: NORTH BY WESTY 16 March – 19 April

A photography exhibition by Samantha Catchpole and Trevor Marshall. Two local photographers took two little red classic VW Westfalia campers and went touring around the north of Scotland where they found photographs waiting to be taken at every turn. From landscapes large and small to images hidden amongst the forgotten industry of the coast, the pictures in this exhibition invite you to share in the beauty they found on their travels.

CAROLE RUPNIAK 20 April – 24 May

Artist Carole Rupniak returns to The Capitol for a third time, displaying her new paintings together with other new landscapes and botanicals and will once again capture the imagination of many who will visit the gallery here. Inspired by her early works of 2005 titled ‘Lost Planets’, this stunning new semi-abstract collection re-introduces celestial ghost-like spheres, which drift atmospherically between the different layers of the painting. For more information about the artist, visit www.caroleskinner-rupniak.com
