Sponsorship
LOCAL DIRECT ASSISTANCE
Dear Sponsor, The Cancer Foundation (TCF) has a wonderful opportunity for your business to support local cancer patients who are in desperate need of help. TCF would like to partner with you through our annual Community Sponsorship package which includes all TCF events, including Cocktails and Tri to Beat Cancer. In addition to our events, your company will be recognized in the Athens Banner-Herald, TCF quarterly newsletters and all social media accounts (as denoted in the Community Sponsorship Catalog). Each of these events directly benefit TCF’s Financial Assistance Program which provides financial assistance to cancer patients in a state of financial crisis due to their cancer diagnosis and treatment. Our events allow our supporters to show the community they are organizations that believe no cancer patient must choose between lifesaving treatment and basic life needs. Over the past nine years, The Cancer Foundation has provided over 1.3 million dollars in financial assistance to more than 2,500 northeast Georgia cancer patients. Your sponsorship not only creates an opportunity for cancer patients to gain access to medication or pay their mortgage, but it supports a local nonprofit that directly benefits local individuals. Sponsoring TCF events is a great way for businesses and the community to partner to promote a cause that touches each and every one of us. We look forward to your response regarding our request for sponsorship. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

About The Cancer Foundation Who We Are The Cancer Foundation is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides emergency financial assistance for basic life needs like housing, utilities, food and medications. The ultimate goal of The Cancer Foundation is to provide emergency monetary assistance to cancer patients living in northeast Georgia.
Our Mission The Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help alleviate the financial burden of cancer for eligible patients.
Our Vision To eradicate the financial hardship for all northeast Georgia residents who are diagnosed with cancer.
Why We Were Founded The physicians of University Cancer & Blood Center, LLC founded The Cancer Foundation in 2005 after treating a growing number of patients in need of financial assistance. When someone is diagnosed with cancer, the entire family suffers, not just emotionally, but also financially. Thus, the Financial Assistance Program helps alleviate a cancer patient’s immediate financial crisis and the debilitating stress that stems from their diagnosis. The Cancer Foundation wants to improve the quality of life for cancer patients living in our community.
