Check that the mast and ties are sound and secure, expecially accasions following severe weather conditions.

Ensure that there are no obstacles either within the operating pathway of the platform or which are likely to cause hindrance during operation.

Check that all handrails and guards are in position and are secure. Ensure any adjustment / replacement is undertaken before operating the platform

Check that the area below the platform is suitably fence off. Clear the platform of all unwanted debris and materials.

Ensure that all instruction notices, including the maximum safe working load sign, are in position and are legible.

Ensure the Trailing Cable is properly uncoiled and routed to the platform safely. Make sure that it is also properly looped onto the handrail.

With main switch turned on, check that up/down direction of travel is correct.

9

Check condition and operation of all electrical limit switches and their functions.

Carry out all checks under daily checklist.

Carry out an operational check on the MCWP.

Check the condition of the chassis, mast sections, drive unit and the platform modules.

Check the motor brake for any visual signs of burning / wear and tear; ie: carbon or burning residue around the motor covers.

Check that the Safety Device is clean and free from debris, and is clear to operate.

6

Check the condition of all bolt and tie fixings.

7

Check each tie assembly's condition, and possible movement during travel.
