Cargo Containers DNV 2.7-1 Half Heights Equipment Overview Byrne’s rental fleet of DNV 2.7-1 half height’s come in 10ft, 15ft, 20ft and 24ft sizes for the storage and secure transportation of various types of oilfield cargo such as construction materials-steelwork, cable drums etc, downhole tools, drilling equipment, scaffolding poles, wood battens and replacement valves. All half height’s are designed to securely stack which saves on used space of deck area. All units have multiple internal load tie down points and some have load protection covers for safe, secure lifting and cargo transportation. They are also designed to meet the offshore oil & gas industry recognised design and build standards of DNV 2.7-1 and EN12079 certification. Other features include swing doors or removable side panel, anti slip surfaces on floors, impact protection to locking handles, claw & keeper. Forklift pockets offer a choice of handling equipment and a sling and shackle set are fitted as standard.
