Cargo Containers DNV 2.7-1 Cargo Baskets Equipment Overview Byrne’s rental fleet of DNV 2.7-1 cargo baskets come in a wide range of sizes for the storage and secure transportation of various types of oilfield cargo such as downhole tools, casing, drill pipe, scaffolding and valves. All cargo baskets are designed to securely stack to utilise deck area. The baskets have multiple internal load tie down points and some have load protection covers for safe, secure lifting and cargo transportation. They are also designed to meet the offshore Oil & Gas industry recognised design and build standards of DNV 2.7-1 and EN12079 certification. Other features include anti slip surfaces on floors, impact protection to locking handles, claw and keeper. Forklift pockets offer a choice of handling equipment and a sling and shackle set are fitted as standard.
