EXACTING DEMANDS DRIVE THE EQUIPMENT INDUSTRY FORWARD

B

yrne, the equipment rental company for the oil and gas sector, is gearing up for ADIPEC 2019 with a strategy to meet exacting demands of the wider industry. “We believe the oil and gas industry is not fully served by the equipment rental and lease sector mainly due to the shortage of rental companies that can meet the equipment and service level expectations of the industry - that’s a gap Byrne are ready to fill,” Pat Fallon, Chief Operating Officer at BYRNE said to ADIPEC News about the company’s plans and strategy

ahead. “With this taken into consideration we remain positive for the year ahead and look forward to what it will bring.” In recent years, Byrne has driven a growth initiative by adding a suite of oil and gas centric equipment to its rental fleets, including a more recent focus on the provision of energy efficient and renewable solutions. The company will be bringing a range of products to ADIPEC, including its DNV 2.7-1 Cargo Containers, LMF compressors and Hoist & Access fleet from supply partners Genie and Power Towers. Additionally, it will showcase modular buildings from sister company Spacemaker with a focus on RigSpace – its range of robust, skid mounted units, suitable for use in the oil and gas industry. Fallon said the company is always listening to contacts to grow its business in line with their wants and needs.

Byrne recently launched its Climate Control division on the back of a demand for this product range from clients. “We will continue to operate in this way and we intend to expand our product offering even further in the near future; we are always working towards our mission of being a one stop shop solution provider and leader in the market place,” Fallon said. Meanwhile, digitalisation is likely to play a role in the company’s business.

“The era of digitalisation us upon us and there is no escaping that, therefore it is vital to incorporate this into our business strategies moving forward,” Fallon said. “Ultimately the industry wishes to improve operational efficiency, safety and have more visibility, this is where listening to our clients we can understand their exact requirements to ensure we can support them with the suitable equipment, service and delivery timescales,” he added.
