To ease travel for BUeños, USC launches ‘BU Libreng Sakay’

Aspart of the Agapay BUeño program by the Bicol University (BU) – University Student Council (USC) and in coordination with the local and provincial Local Government Units (LGUs) of Albay, the ‘BU Libreng Sakay’ began its operation on August 15, 2022.

The designated vehicles will fetch bonafide BUeños in the municipality of Polangui, Oas, Ligao City, Guinobatan, Camalig, and Daraga. In addition, BUeños from the 1st district of will also benefit in this program particularly from Tab- aco City, Malilipot, Bacacay, and Sto. Domingo, including the 2nd district in barangay Lidong, Padang, Bigaa, Arimbay, and Rawis. Furthermore, free rides will also be available from Rawis to Daraga Campus and UST-Legazpi to Daraga Campus.

The program will only run until Friday, August 19, 2022. BU personnel and staff may also avail the Libreng Sakay provided that they must present an identification. Specific times and schedules will be strictly followed.
