Join us for an evening of glitz and glamour at our highly anticipated Bond themed charity dinner gala at the stunning grounds of St Michael’s Manor in St Albans.

Last year we had to postpone the event that led us to missing up to an estimated £7K of fundraising.

“In 2019 our Medieval Murder Mystery event raised £6,200! This fund enables us to provide our home-visiting service for up to fi ve families who going through diffi cult times.”

This glamorous event will consist of suited and gowned guests, served with a delicious 3-course meal whilst being entertained by a live band. There will be casino and an auction with some fantastic donations that

Home-Start are a local family charity that offers emotional and practical support to parents who are struggling with dayto-day life. This may be because they have additional challenges such as a long-term illness, disability, mental health or are feeling isolated and lonely.

Trained family mentors visit families to help them develop the skills, confi dence and strength they need to be there for their children, and be the best parents they can be. “My volunteer supported me through my journey of fi nding a new home for my family and helped build me up when I was too hard on myself. I feel my well-being has improved and have found that I am quite resilient. No matter what life throws at me I have managed to fi nd a way of getting through it. I no longer feel so sad or lonely and now full of hope.”
