Rating Weddings of 2022
We all are Twilight fans whether we admit it or not. To kick off this list, the universal childhood crush of all 2010s babies, Taylor Lautner, tied the knot to his long time partner Taylor Dome. It has been reported that it was a small, strictly family affair open to about 100 of each of the newly weds’ loved ones and was organised at the artisan vineyards of Epoch Estate. Both Taylors were elegantly dressed on their special day as Dome donned a floral-embroidered tulle A-line gown and a cathedral-length veil. While Lautner wore a classic black tuxedo. It’s safe to say we rate this wedding a 7 out of 10.
Modern Family star Sarah Hyland and her partner Wells Adams followed the trend of winery destination weddings and from the Trending team this already checks off our box for an ‘a la mode’ occasion! They celebrated their marriage at the Sunstone Winery in California. The wedding was highly star studded as many of Hyland’s onset and offset family were in attendance including Sofia Vergara, Julia Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. We give this wedding a 10 out of 10.

'Jenny from the Block’ and ‘Gone Girl’ lead Ben Affleck also said ‘I do’ for the second time with an intimate celebration in Georgia in front of many of their friends and family. In attendance was Jimmy Kimmel and his wife, along with Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso who witnessed the swapping of nuptials. Jennifer Lopez was spotted donning a custom Ralph Lauren dress that saw more than 1,000 handkerchiefs and 500 metres of fabric cut into ruffles to make an elegant version of Ralph Lauren's classic turtleneck column dress. For the custom yet rebranded R.Lauren dress this wedding gets the stamp of approval and a solid 10 out of 10.

Bill Nye the Science Guy also celebrated his matrimony to journalist and author Liza Mundy at a private ceremony in Washington D.C at the Smithsonian Institute. Their vows were officiated by Star Trek star Robert Picardo as the icing on the cake to any Trekker geek’s dream wedding! To conclude the night, the bride and groom danced the night away to a rendition of Sam Cooke’s ‘What a wonderful world’ and Mundy swapped out her heels for some casual pair of sparkly sneakers. If we are promised a Bill Nye comeback, then and only then would we give this wedding a 10 out of 10 but who are we kidding, to commemorate the month of love and happiness this wedding gets an 11 out of 10 from us!
