PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Dear Members, November promises to be an exciting month filled with several special events. We look forward to welcoming you to a special evening celebrating the rich heritage of Malay cuisine, where members can enjoy exceptional food, fascinating stories, and unique insights into Malay culinary traditions. Later in the month, we will come together for our Casino Royale Night. Inspired by the glamour and excitement of James Bond, it promises to be a spectacular evening of fine dining, live entertainment, and music.

Roger Harrold President

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 25th November. The AGM is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the Club’s achievements over the past year, learn about our future plans, and participate in the governance of our community. It is also the perfect occasion to reconnect with fellow members over food and refreshments, and I encourage all eligible members to attend.

This will be my final President’s Message before the AGM and the election of a new Committee. It has been an absolute privilege to serve as your President for the past three years, working alongside such dedicated Committee members, volunteers, management, and staff. Together, we have achieved so much. We have introduced significant enhancements to our facilities, expanded our social and cultural offerings, successfully transitioned to a new Management team, and significantly strengthened our financial robustness. Through all these changes, I believe we have continued to elevate the Club’s position while preserving the welcoming spirit and deep sense of community that make The British Club such a special place. Most importantly, I want to thank you—our members—for your continued loyalty, support, and engagement. Your active participation is what makes this community so vibrant and successful. I look forward to remaining an active member myself, enjoying everything the Club has to offer in the years ahead, and seeing many of you around the Club.

GM’S MESSAGE • CLUB MANAGEMENT

Looking Ahead to November Dear Members, Thank you for continuing to come along, take part and support the Club while Singapore has been dealing with the haze. It has been a difficult and frustrating period at times, so your patience and understanding have been very much appreciated. Our approach has been straightforward: when the air quality has caused concern, we have made decisions with the safety of members, guests and staff in mind. That has sometimes meant changing plans or moving activities. Thank you for working with us when this has happened. Tee Bale, General Manager

November should give us plenty to enjoy. Our AGM takes place during the month, and there is also a busy run of social and festive events to look forward to.

Join us as we switch on the lights and round off the month together.

Sunny Sia Executive Chef

Adeline Tan Head of Human Resource

Ramzdan Bin Suphan Head of Facilities

Asa Shaari Housekeeping Manager

Thank you again for sticking with us through the haze. We have a good month ahead, and I look forward to enjoying it with you. NOV 2026 3

CLUB NEWS

Your Club. Your Voice. Your AGM. Wednesday, 25th November 2026

Let’s be honest: the words Annual General Meeting don’t always have people racing to put the date in their diaries. But perhaps it’s time to think differently about the AGM. The British Club belongs to its members, and the AGM is one of the few occasions each year when we come together not simply to enjoy the Club, but to hear what’s happening behind the scenes, understand where we are heading and have a voice in its future. And there are plenty of good reasons to be there. Meet fellow members. The AGM is a great opportunity to catch up with familiar faces and meet other members from across the Club community. It’s as much a social occasion as it is a meeting. Hear what’s happening at your Club. Members of the Main Committee and Club Management will share updates on the Club, what has been achieved over the past year and some of the work taking place that members may not normally get to see. Get a glimpse of what’s coming next. What does the future hold for The British Club? The AGM gives members an opportunity to hear about plans, priorities and ideas for the year ahead — and beyond. Have your say. As a member, you are part of the Club. The AGM is your opportunity to participate in its governance, hear directly from those responsible for leading and managing it, ask questions and play a part in shaping its future. And yes, there’s food and refreshments too! We promise it isn’t all presentations and formalities. Come along, enjoy some food and refreshments, meet other members and make an evening of it. More than a meeting The British Club is much more than its facilities, restaurants, activities and events. It is a community — and its strength comes from members who take an interest in where their Club is going. You don’t need to be an expert on Club affairs. You don’t need to arrive armed with questions. And you certainly don’t need to be considering a future career on the Main Committee! Just come along, listen, meet people, enjoy the hospitality and find out a little more about the Club you belong to. Wednesday, 25th November 2026 Put the date in your diary and join us. It’s your Club. Come and be part of its future. 4 NOV 2026

Introducing Nick Zhuo

CLUB NEWS

In this issue, we turn the spotlight on Nick, our Assistant Sports Manager, whose work behind the scenes helps keep the Club’s busy sports programme running smoothly. From coordinating courts and coaching sessions to supporting events and members, Nick is a familiar face to many, but there’s much more to his role than you might realise. Ask anyone on the sports team what Nick does and you’ll get a different answer. Courts rescheduled, coaching slots sorted, an event running smoothly. What they usually mean is that he’s part of the team that makes things work. As Assistant Sports Manager, Nick helps look after the daily running of our sports operations. That covers coaching bookings, court allocation, and the many small moving parts that members only notice when something goes wrong. With four tennis courts, a team of coaches and a calendar full of lessons, events and tournaments, there is a lot to juggle. Nick approaches it with calm and good humour. His approach is practical and collaborative. When a process is slow or clumsy, he brings the team together to work out a better way. Some of the tools that make coaching bookings and cancellations clearer and fairer for members and staff began with his ideas, but they took shape through the input of coaches, administrators and colleagues across the department. He is quick to say that good ideas improve when more people shape them. He also cares about getting the details right, including the way members’ personal information is handled. Colleagues describe him as dependable, approachable and quietly determined. He listens first, and he treats a lastminute change as a puzzle for the whole team to solve, not a crisis. When a coach falls ill or a court is needed for a tournament, everyone pitches in, and Nick makes sure the people affected are kept informed. Away from work, Nick’s favourite place to be is at home with his family and children. Time with them is what he values most, and the same warmth and patience he brings to his role carry over to the rest of his life. He is also curious by nature. Whether he’s exploring automation, learning new skills or thinking about how a business can run better, he is always looking for ways to improve, and he shares what he learns with the team. That curiosity, combined with everyone’s contributions, benefits the club every day. If you see Nick around the courts or the sports office, say hello. He’ll likely be in the middle of a conversation with a colleague, but he always has time for a member. And if you have an idea to make your experience better, tell him. He’ll be glad to hear it. Nick is always happy to help with sports enquiries. Drop by the sports office or write to sports@britishclub.org.sg.

Every Toy Wants A Second Story: British Club Toy Donation Drive

By Natasha Garcha, member of the Club since August, 2025

The British Club Toy Drive opens on 9th October, in support of Food from the Heart’s Toy Buffet on 13th November. Picture a nine-year-old standing in front of a table stacked with brightly wrapped parcels. She has played the carnival games, finished her snack and watched the performers. She picks up one parcel, then another, weighs them in her hands and, after a very long pause, makes up her own mind. It is a small moment. For many of the children at Toy Buffet, it is also a rare one. And as any Toy Story fan will tell you, it is the moment every toy is waiting for too. Toy Buffet is Food from the Heart’s annual charity carnival, held every November since 2004 for children whose families receive support under the Ministry of Education’s Financial Assistance Scheme. Around 2,000 children aged five to 12 attend. Unlike most toy appeals, nobody simply hands them a present. They walk through rows of themed toy booths and choose for themselves. That is the idea at the heart of this year’s British Club Toy Drive. When so much in a child’s life is decided by circumstance, the chance to choose is a gift in itself. It tells a child that their preferences matter, and that today they come first. Science backs up that toys can make a meaningful difference to a child. A 2026 systematic review of 131 studies found that toy-based learning using traditional and digital toys was associated with benefits across social-emotional, cognitive, language, physical and creative development; traditional toys were particularly linked to social engagement and imaginative exploration. Our goal: 200 and beyond The Club has committed to contributing at least 200 toys to this year’s Toy Buffet. Every toy beyond that target travels on to children who are unable to attend on the day, which is how the event reaches well beyond the 2,000 children in the room. There is no such thing as one toy too many. A note, if you’d like A handwritten note would be lovely, but it is entirely optional. The card goes home with the toy: a few words from someone who thought about a child they have never met. If you write one, hand it in with your toy for us to attach. If not, the committee will add a warm note as we wrap. If you have children, it is a lovely job to hand over to them! There is no need to wrap your toy. The British Club CSR and Sustainability Committee will gift-wrap each one individually, keeping the surprise of choosing intact on the day. We promise to find a lovely second home for all your kids’ toys who want to continue their story! How to take part The Toy Drive runs from 9th October to 10th November. Please drop your toys in the trolley outside Hangout. Anything a child aged five to 12 would love to unwrap is welcome, from board games to building sets. New and gently used toys are accepted, however no stuffed toys or books. On 13th November, a child will pause at a booth, pick up a parcel wrapped by a British Club member, and have a moment where they decide ‘this one is mine!’ Let’s give them plenty to choose from. 16 NOV 2026

British Club CSR Visit to EQUAL Saturday, 10th October 2026

The British Club’s visit to EQUAL was a resounding success, reflecting strong member interest in the Club’s CSR initiatives. We received 100 registrations across two sessions (morning and afternoon), with approximately 90% attendance. Participants were predominantly families, with children ranging from toddlers to teenagers.

The programme ran smoothly and featured four engaging, hands-on activities: Make-a-Salad & Horse Feeding: Children and parents enthusiastically prepared salads for the horses before feeding them, an activity that proved equally popular with adults. Meet & Greet with a Horse and Miniature Horse: Members practised mindful breathing and calming techniques in the presence of the horses, experiencing firsthand some of the therapeutic benefits of equine-assisted learning. Guided Paddock Walk: Children built confidence by learning to handle and walk alongside a majestic, full-sized horse, with trainers ensuring their safety throughout. 18 NOV 2026

CLUB NEWS

Horse Grooming: Families enjoyed a more intimate bonding experience with the horses, with children particularly delighted by the opportunity to brush their manes. Member feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Parents appreciated the Club’s efforts to organise an experience that brought its CSR work to life. Seeing and participating in EQUAL’s activities firsthand proved far more powerful than simply reading about the charity’s work. For many children, this was their first close encounter with horses. They particularly enjoyed the variety of interactive activities, and several were so enthusiastic that they asked their parents whether they could return. EQUAL’s staff were exceptionally patient and attentive, answering questions thoughtfully and encouraging children to approach the horses at their own pace. The programme was well-paced, never felt rushed, and offered sufficient time for meaningful engagement without requiring an excessive time commitment from families.

Overall, the visit was an excellent example of the British Club’s CSR Committee creating meaningful opportunities for members to connect with the wider Singapore community. It combined family engagement, experiential learning and social impact in a memorable and accessible format, while strengthening awareness of EQUAL’s important work. NOV 2026 19

BRITISH HIGH COMMISSION CONSULAR ADVICE

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AND CO-PARENTING What You Need to Know

Co-parenting can sometimes feel like walking a tightrope. Much of it involves calendars, compromise and remembering which parent currently has the left shoe. One important issue that may be overlooked, however, is travelling abroad with your child. Whether it is a last-minute holiday, a visit to grandparents or a short trip during the school holidays, international travel can create unexpected complications when parents do not agree on the arrangements. A routine journey can quickly become a legal matter if one parent takes a child out of the country without the required permission. Most parents would not describe such a situation as ‘child abduction’. However, taking a child abroad without the permission of everyone with parental responsibility, or without a court’s permission, may be treated as child abduction. The precise legal position will depend on the circumstances, so seek advice from a suitably qualified family lawyer if you are unsure. The 1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction provides a legal framework for seeking the return of a child who has been wrongfully removed from, or retained outside, the country where they usually live. It does not decide long-term custody arrangements. The Convention applies only between participating countries, and individual cases can be complex.

Before travelling, obtain the permission of everyone with parental responsibility or, where necessary, permission

from a court. A signed consent letter should include the other person’s contact details and information about the trip. It may also be helpful to carry evidence of your relationship to the child, such as a birth or adoption certificate, particularly if you have different surnames, as well as copies of any relevant court orders. Check the entry and exit requirements of every country involved, as requirements vary. The safest approach is to make the travel arrangements clear and to carry documentary evidence showing that the trip has been agreed, or that you have the legal authority to make the decision. Domestic abuse may be a factor in some cases. In Singapore, the charity AWARE provides support through its Women’s Helpline. The Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations also operates Star Shelter for women and children affected by family violence. If you are in immediate danger, call the police on 999 or go to the nearest police station.

For further information, see the GOV.UK guidance on international parental child abduction. If you are a British national and have concerns about your child’s welfare abroad, the British High Commission can provide information and explain possible options. Where appropriate, consular staff may contact relevant overseas authorities to register the UK Government’s interest in police, social services or court cases, and may ask for updates. The British High Commission cannot rescue a child, become involved in an unlawful attempt to bring a child back to the UK, guarantee a child’s return or carry out welfare checks. Consular staff can, however, advise you how to report welfare concerns to the appropriate safeguarding authority in the country concerned. Most international travel involving children takes place without difficulty (as long as you can find that elusive left shoe). However, understanding the legal requirements in advance can help parents travel with confidence and provide reassurance to all involved. 20 NOV 2026

JOYFUL SCHOLARSHIP CURIOSITY. DEEP THINKING. LOVE OF LEARNING. At NLCS (Singapore), learning is intellectually exciting, inspiring students to question, explore ideas and develop a genuine love of learning.

Curiosity at the Heart of Learning

Inspirational Teaching

At NLCS (Singapore), curiosity is encouraged to become a habit. Students are inspired to ask questions, consider different perspectives and explore ideas in depth. Rather than simply receiving information, they are encouraged to think about why, how we know and whether there might be another way of looking at something.

Joyful Scholarship begins with inspirational teachers who bring deep subject knowledge, genuine enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity into the classroom.

This approach develops independent and intellectually curious learners who are motivated not simply by finding the right answer, but by developing a deeper understanding.

Learning Beyond the Curriculum The curriculum provides a strong academic foundation, while opportunities to make connections beyond it bring learning to life. Students are encouraged to connect their learning across subjects, with current events, their own interests and the wider world. In doing so, they begin to see knowledge not as a collection of separate subjects, but as ideas that can be questioned, connected and explored.

Our specialist teachers bring their subjects to life, encouraging students to engage with ideas, ask thoughtful questions and develop their own perspectives. Through this relationship between teacher and student, learning becomes more than the acquisition of knowledge. It develops a genuine love of learning and the confidence to think independently.

The Joy of Challenge Some of the most rewarding learning is also the most challenging. At NLCS (Singapore), students are encouraged to engage with ideas worth wrestling with - to investigate, debate and challenge them, and to recognise that getting something wrong can be an important part of reaching a deeper understanding. Joyful Scholarship is about finding satisfaction in that process: thinking deeply, questioning ideas and developing understanding for themselves.

“Academic excellence is not simply about what students know. It is about inspiring them to question, explore and think deeply about the world around them.”

Teaching young people about

financial planning As planners we often call for better financial education at school level. Equipping children with financial literacy skills could make such a significant long-term difference to their lives, so aiming for a basic level of financial education from childhood would surely bring benefits at a societal level. Until financial education finds its way onto the curriculum, I think those of us within the financial services industry have an obligation to think about how we can contribute to improving the level of financial education in children and young people. In this article I’ll share five financial planning lessons that may benefit young people and serve as a useful primer in beginning their financial education. The time value of money One very important lesson that a colleague has instilled in his own children is the time value of money. Instead of looking at that new pair of shoes and asking if they are worth the price tag that’s attached, he instead tries to get them to look at the effort of earning that money. He invites his children to ask themselves: “Are those shoes worth vacuuming the house ten times?”

direct their funds towards saving for a first car or house deposit later down the line. Installing a mentality that you can reward yourself, but that it shouldn’t be at the expense of the big goal down the line. Again, this is a lesson that rings true regardless of age and is an idea that we try to work through with clients and agree on before moving forward. We invite them to think about what, for them, are the important financial goals of today, versus what they want from their future, and show how these goals are connected and can impact on each other. You can’t afford everything Maybe a slightly harder lesson, and potentially one for children fast approaching adulthood, is the importance of learning to accept they simply cannot do everything. Speaking from experience, it’s natural to want the world when you’re younger. However, sometimes you just need to learn to sit and wait until you can afford it or just accept that it’s not going to be possible. Prioritising, planning and focusing on what you can achieve is the best way to not get hung up on the things you might not be able to do. A short lesson on the stock market

The answer to this question will be different for every individual, and it’s about helping the child find out what they value and weighing that against the effort and time it takes to achieve it. This is a question we can all ask ourselves more often, however old we are, when it comes to spending our hard-earned cash.

A basic lesson in how the stock market works and what relevance it has to individuals and their financial plans can be valuable for young people. Most will have some knowledge or will have seen reports of stock market movement on the news but often this can seem unconnected to their own lives.

A balance between today and tomorrow

It can help to explain what the stock market is and what can it do for individuals, using an example to bring it to life, like the alternative it offers to saving your money in the bank (see below). Explaining the potential risks as well as the potential rewards clearly gives a rounded view of what investing in the markets can do and how it can relate to everyday life.

Whilst it may be human nature to seek instant gratification, a sensible approach to life and financial planning involves striking a balance between today and tomorrow. For some of the younger generation that may mean denying themselves a treat today so that they can

Example lesson – cash versus the stock market Cash savings will always have their part in life. They provide financial security and certainty, knowing you have a buffer to fall back on. If you want to buy a car when you turn 18 and you need SGD60K (before COE) then you will likely need to put away the vast majority of that SGD60K to achieve your goal. The stock market, on the other hand, offers something different. As stated on the FCA website[1], savings accounts generally offer specified rates of return, but many investments like shares have rates of return that vary, especially over the short term. Investing on the stock market also comes with greater risk and the potential to experience a fall in value as well as rise, which means you can also lose money. If things go your way you may reach your SGD60K goal whilst only actually saving SGD45K. Conversely you may end up saving more than your goal as your investments have lost money.

in itself, rather, it’s what money will allow them to do that should be the focus. This might mean the financial foundation to buy a house or the freedom to start their own business. Maybe it can fund the education they will need to achieve their career ambitions or even allow them to start making plans to retire early and travel the world. It’s how anyone uses money as a means by which to enrich and improve their lives that’s key. If you would like some help and support with your financial planning, please get in touch.

Understanding the role of money in their life It is undeniable that money and finances will play a part in everyone’s lives, however it’s important in any financial lesson to emphasise that it is a part of a broader picture. The best client outcomes and the best stories that myself and many of my colleagues can recall come from helping clients to achieve things that do not have monetary value. By teaching young people about financial planning and helping to develop a healthy relationship with money, we also have a role in demonstrating that money is not an end

CLUB EVENTS

British Club Wine Appreciation Society By Romik Arconian, Member of the Club since August, 2024

With Mountbatten still closed, our latest wine fest moved down to the Verandah, so we decided to take advantage of the Club’s sensational local food and make it a wine-and-local-food pairing evening. We kept things simple: an informal BYOB where anything went, with everyone encouraged to try’ each wine against the different dishes. The food- vegetarian char kway teow, laksa, chicken rice and prawn Hokkien noodles, all served in half portionsdidn’t disappoint. Neither did the wines, with Section members bringing an eclectic mix of whites and reds. These included Château Haut-Simard 2014 from Saint-Émilion, Masi Angelorum from Veneto, the Bordeaux-inspired Canadian Osoyoos Larose 2018, Château Canon Chaigneau 2003 and 2019 from Lalande-de-Pomerol, Wolf Blass Grey Label Barossa and Villa Broglia Gavi 2021, plus a selection of sweet wines courtesy of David and Irene. The pairings moved along at a fairly frantic pace. The smoky prawn noodles worked unexpectedly well with both Rieslings and Merlots; the earthy mushroom char kway teow was brilliant with the heavier reds, particularly the Masi and Wolf Blass; while the chicken rice was a great match for the softer, more mature Right Bank Bordeaux. The highlight for many, though, was the sweet-wine selection with the spicier plates. The deep-orange, wonderfully honeyed Château Rieussec 2001 was sensational with the Club’s stunning laksa and the delicate chilli sauce served alongside. Next up is Tuscany on 10th December. All Club members are very welcome to join us, with a three-month trial Wine Section membership available. Contact the Club or email arconian@me.com for more details. Many thanks to John and the Verandah team for all their help. Cheers!

SQUASH

Section Updates By Andrew Marshall, Member of the Club since January, 2003

BC v Koh Samui

Squash Club Plaque Presentation

Ashes SCC v BC

BC v Koh Samui

BC v Tanglin Cosmo

Alex Weeks -exhausted but victorious

It has been a very busy period for the British Club Squash Section recently . As well as the regular Monday, Wednesday and Saturday social squash gatherings we were /are involved in the following: Maraleina Squash Club, Koh Samui v BC (report by Andrew Vine, Life Member) BC recently hosted 10 members of the Maraleina Sports Resort in Koh Samui for a friendly fixture, the first time a group from Thailand has visited BC Squash. We were not used to playing at 10AM on a Sunday, but once the ball was warm the squash was lively and competitive, and the home side came out on top overall. Our visitors were great company, both on court and afterwards over lunch on the Scores decking, where the conversation soon turned to a possible return fixture to Koh Samui next year! Ashes annual clash with the Singapore Cricket Club (report by Ragnar Bulie) SCC remain the premier amateur squash club in Singapore , so we always enjoy the chance of challenging them . In this match all seemed to be going really well as we raced into a 5-1 lead ! Alas SCC brought out their big guns to win 7 matches on the trot to come out 8-5 winners -maybe next year, on our hallowed home courts, we can grab back the trophy! Cosmo Cup (on-going) This is in many ways our favourite tournament of the year -we play all the other expat squash clubs in Singapore on a home and away basis, and all the matches are made fairer by our unique Cosmo handicap system. So far we have won 1, drawn 2 and lost 3 but there is still along way to go and a full report will be done after the last fixture. More important than the results are the good times we have shared with our opponents after the last point has been contested. Up-coming events We have just started out internal Handicap tournament and we will be hosting RAC , a top ranked squash club from London on 13th November. NOV 2026 51

CRICKET

Section Updates By Subha Ganguly, Member of the Club since April, 2007

After a July and August hiatus, BC restarted its season with a strong performance against the Misfits. BC batted first and posted a strong total of 223, with the Misfits coming up short by 30 runs and closing out at 193. After this match, BCXI turned their sights to Kuala Lumpur, travelling to Malaysia to play the Royal Selangor Sports Club and SSU Kelab Aman over an action-packed weekend. The game against Royal Selangor at the beautiful Kiara Annex of the Royal Selangor Sporting Club got underway under cloudy skies. Impressive bowling from the BCXI saw the hosts fold for 112. By the time the cloudburst hit late in the afternoon, BCXI were well ahead of par and secured a comfortable victory. With rain imminent again on Sunday, the game against Kelab Aman started on time. However, Sunday’s story was different, with the hosts registering a very comfortable win over BCXI. With rain threatening throughout the weekend, the tourists from BC were relieved to get two full (relatively) games in KL. Back at home in October, BCXI took on SCC at Dempsey for the final match of the Commonwealth Cup. BCXI won the match and the Commonwealth Cup with a 30-run victory over SCC. However, BCXI lost to the British High Commission (BHC), with BHC out-batting BC comprehensively and chasing down 192 with 8 overs to spare again at Dempsey. 52 NOV 2026

SPORTS & FITNESS

That ends the last 4 fixtures, with BC winning twice. BC is looking ahead to the end of the season, with its last fixture vs the Spirits on 25th October and the Cricket Section Awards night on 6th November. The BCXI cricket nets continue to be held regularly on Tuesday nights at the Cage @Dempsey. If you’re looking to join a team for some light-hearted cricket fun or want to improve your skills, BCXI would look forward to welcoming you to the group. We encourage cricketers of all skill levels to join us at our nets and continue their journey from there. Please get in touch at cricket@britishclub.org.sg for more details.

GOLF

Section Updates By Adam Bozeman, Member of the Club since January, 2023

The golf section held its Annual Golf Championship on 1st October at Tanah Merah Country Club (Tampines Course), one of Singapore’s premier golf facilities which has hosted numerous professional and elite amateur tournaments. The course was in pristine condition, and we had a record turnout of 40 players. We were very fortunate with the weather; it was a low-haze day, and despite a lightning delay mid-round, we were able to finish the full 18 holes. We finished the event with an awards ceremony and drinks on the terrace overlooking the beautiful golf course. Some very impressive golf was played by the winners of all flights, especially by this year’s Club Champion, James Harvey, who shot 74. That is a great score on any course, but at Tanah Merah – known for being one of Singapore’s most challenging layouts – a 74 is truly outstanding. Congratulations James! Here are the full results from the event: LOW GROSS SCORE 1st: James Harvey – Club Champion 2nd: Aidan Mitchell 3rd: Adam Bozeman LADIES DIVISION 1st: Olivia Lee – Ladies Champion LOW NETT DIVISION 1st: John Gaw 2nd: David White 3rd: Mike Hughes LOW NETT (GUEST) 1st: Jonathan Lee CLOSEST TO THE HOLE Hole 6: Alex Yim Hole 16: Adam Bozeman

SPORTS & FITNESS

The golf section played its other monthly events in September and October – weekday 18- and 9-holes games in Singapore and a weekend 18-hole outing in Malaysia. Our Monday Night League team also continues to represent the club each week against nearly 20 other teams from all around Singapore, and they have had some strong performances already this season. We look forward to more golf and social events in the last two months of the year, including our year-end Order of Merit tournament. NOV 2026 55
