Roger Harrold President

Dear Members,

June brings with it a wonderful sense of energy and anticipation as the school year winds down, summer holidays beckon, and the Club is buzzing with the spirit of togetherness that makes this such a special community.

I am delighted to announce the appointment of Paula Craigie to the role of Vice President. Paula joins Margaret as one of the two Vice Presidents of the Club appointed in 2026. I am also delighted to welcome Robin Nayak who has joined the Main Committee with effect from May 2026 and will Chair a new combined committee which will be called Membership and Marketing Committee. On behalf of my colleagues on the Main Committee, I warmly welcome Robin and congratulate Paula on their new positions and responsibilities. Our General Manager has announced some changes to his management team and the Main Committee looks to align itself with this new structure. Please read the later article on to show the changes that have taken place.

I am also honoured to announce that the Main Committee have awarded Kenny Cowgill our past Vice President with the first ever Significant Contributions Award [SCA]. You will see a new Board in Reception that will list these names of individuals who truly have spent considerable time, efforts and energy in personal commitments to the Club over several years.

On a social note, I am very much looking forward to our Family Day on Saturday, 6th June. Under the theme Bring the Family Together for a Day of Fun, this promises to be a truly joyful occasion, with games and activities thoughtfully curated for members of all ages. Whether you have young children eager to make new friends, teenagers looking for a good time, or family members visiting from abroad, there truly is something for everyone. For many of our families, this will be one of the last weekends together before the summer holidays begin, and I can think of no better way to mark the occasion than a well-spent day here at the Club.

Look out for some new big events planned later this year to replace the traditional Christmas Ball which will be taking place in our soon to be fully renovated Elizabeth Suites. Wishing you and your families a joyful June and a stress-free year end of the school calendar.

The Club would like to extend our deepest appreciation and congratulations to Kenny Cowgill for being the first recipient of this award. It is a truly well-deserved honour.

Introducing Paula Craigie: Our New Vice President

We are pleased to introduce Paula as the Club’s new Vice President. With a strong passion for community and a clear vision for the Club’s future, she shares more about her journey, priorities, and what members can look forward to in the months ahead.

1. Congratulations on your new role as Vice President. What motivated you to take on this responsibility, and what does this position mean to you personally?

Having been part of The British Club community for several years, I’ve come to really appreciate the role the Club plays in creating connection, friendship and belonging for so many families in Singapore. What motivated me to become VP was the opportunity to give back in a more meaningful way. Through my time on the Main Committee and as Chair of Marketing & Communications, I’ve seen the dedication behind the scenes that makes this such a welcoming place. This role feels both a privilege and a responsibility, and I look forward to working alongside the team and members as the Club continues to evolve.

2. Looking ahead, what are some of the key objectives or initiatives you hope to achieve during your term?

One priority is to continue to strengthen the sense of community that already makes the Club so special; ensuring members of all ages and backgrounds always feel welcome and genuinely valued. From an HR perspective, I’m passionate about fostering a positive staff culture, because when people feel supported and empowered, it naturally creates a better experience for everyone. I also hope to create more opportunities for members to come together through meaningful shared experiences.

3. As Chair of the Human Resource Committee as well, how do you see the HR Committee’s goals evolving over the next year to better support the organisation’s overall strategic plan?

I see the HR Committee playing a central role in nurturing a people-centred culture where colleagues feel connected to the Club’s wider vision and values. As an Executive Coach, I’ve seen across many industries that when staff feel happy, motivated and appreciated, it directly and positively impacts the member experience every single day.

4. The Club has such a strong sense of community. How do you hope to build on this and enhance the member experience even further?

Enhancing member experience is about listening carefully while creating opportunities that bring people together through family activities, sport, dining, learning or social events. I also believe member experience and staff culture are deeply linked; when staff feel valued, it strengthens the atmosphere for everyone

5. What excites you most about the future of the Club, and what would you like members to look forward to in the coming years?

What excites me most is the Club’s potential to keep evolving while holding onto the spirit and values present since 1987. We have a wonderful foundation, a diverse membership, a welcoming atmosphere and real connection across generations. I hope members continue to enjoy a Club that fosters togetherness and creates lasting memories for years to come

Introducing Robin Nayak: Our New Chair of Membership & Marketing Committee

Robin and his family have been members of the Club for over 20 years. Like many, they were first introduced through friends and, before long, found themselves building their lives around it, eventually moving just around the corner. What began as somewhere to visit quickly became something much more meaningful.

The Club has provided his family with everything a condominium could hope to offer, and more, all within a five-minute walk from home. It is where lifelong friendships have been formed and where his children have grown up, with the Club woven into so many important moments along the way.

For Robin, it is the sense of belonging and familiarity beyond the impressive facilities that makes the Club truly special. It is this conviction that he brings to his new role as Chair of the Membership and Marketing Committee.

1. Now that you’re on the Main Committee, what’s one thing you wish everyone knew about what goes on behind the scenes?

Having served on various sub-committees over the past 16 years, and now joining the Main Committee, I have gained a much deeper appreciation for what happens behind the scenes. What many members may not see is the extraordinary voluntary commitment that goes into shaping the Club’s future, with diverse professional perspectives working closely alongside an experienced management team.

2. If you had to describe the Club’s personality in just three words, which ones would you choose, and how will you use them to market us to the world?

Inviting, elegant and family. Inviting because there is no pretence whether newly arrived in Singapore or long established here, everyone is made to feel genuinely welcome. Elegant because it offers a calm, refined retreat from one of the world’s fastest-moving cities. Above all it is about family, not only in the literal sense, but in the relationships built between members, staff and the wider community over many years.

3. We all remember our first day here. What’s one thing you want every new member to feel the moment they walk through our doors for the first time?

Ultimately, every member should feel that this is their place. Whether it is Day 1, Day 1,000 or Day 10,000, time spent at the Club should always feel special, and as I see it, it is our responsibility as the Main Committee to listen to members, and represent their feedback to ensure that feeling never fades.

4. When you aren’t busy in committee meetings, where is the first place we’d find you in the Club?

The Windsor Arms, my family’s natural home within the Club. Some 20 years ago it was the very first place we visited as guests, and it still captures everything that makes the Club special: friendly company, familiar faces, quiz nights, big football weekends, and the feeling that you are exactly where you belong.

World Cup Atmosphere at the Club

This summer also coincides with the excitement of the Football World Cup 2026, bringing a new energy to the Club. Selected matches will be shown live, complemented by replays of key fixtures, allowing members to stay connected to the tournament regardless of match timings.

To enhance the experience, the Club is introducing a World Cup themed dining promotion at the Verandah Café. A curated pizza range celebrates different footballing nations, including:

Bringing New Life to the Elizabeth Suites and Stuart Room

We are delighted to unveil the newly renovated Elizabeth Suites and Stuart Room, thoughtfully designed to provide refined and versatile settings for meetings, workshops, weddings, performances, and special events. Both spaces seamlessly blend timeless British elegance with modern functionality, featuring a sophisticated palette of warm tones, navy carpeting, painted wall panels, and refined fabric wall finishes. Together, these elements create an atmosphere that is both welcoming and professional, making the venues equally suited for business and social occasions alike. Inspired by Singapore’s iconic black-and-white colonial architecture, plantation shutters replace traditional curtains to enhance natural light while adding a distinctive colonial charm. Built-in coffee stations have also been integrated to support operational efficiency, discreetly accommodating AV equipment and catering essentials for seamless event execution.

The Elizabeth Suites have been designed with exceptional flexibility in mind. The hall can be divided into three smaller function spaces using movable partitions, allowing the venue to adapt effortlessly to different event sizes and formats. Supporting this versatility is an advanced AV system engineered for both independent and combined operation. Two of the suites, ES1 and ES3, are equipped with large LED walls that provide bright, impactful visuals, while the centre suite, ES2, features a motorised projector screen that can be concealed when not in use for a cleaner and more elegant setup.

To further elevate the event experience, each hall is fitted with six in-ceiling speakers and a dedicated subwoofer, delivering clear speech reproduction for presentations alongside rich, balanced audio for performances and celebrations. The entire system is powered by a central AV matrix, enabling any source to be routed seamlessly to any suite while allowing the halls to function either separately or as one expansive event space depending on operational requirements. Connectivity for laptops, microphones, and entertainment systems has also been streamlined to ensure a user-friendly experience for organisers and guests alike.

The Stuart Room complements these enhancements with its own upgraded technology, featuring a 100-inch LED TV screen paired with an enhanced sound system that delivers crisp visuals and balanced audio for presentations, speeches, and hybrid events. Meanwhile, the Elizabeth Suites are further elevated with a 130-inch LED wall, creating an immersive environment suited for both corporate functions and celebratory occasions.

Overall, the newly refurbished Elizabeth Suites and Stuart Room combine heritage-inspired design with state-of-the-art technology, offering sophisticated, adaptable, and user-friendly event spaces designed to accommodate a wide range of modern event requirements seamlessly.

Charity Car Wash

Sunday, 3rd May

The Charity Car Wash brought the club together in support of a meaningful cause. Staff members rolled up their sleeves to contribute their time and effort, washing cars throughout the day while raising funds and awareness. Filled with smiles and positive energy, the event reflected the club’s strong commitment to giving back to the community. The initiative was a great success, with all proceeds donated to the Singapore Children’s Society.

Mother’s Day Dinner

Sunday, 10th May

Mountbatten Bar & Grill hosted a memorable Mother’s Day dinner, bringing families together to celebrate and show appreciation for the incredible women in their lives. Guests enjoyed a delightful dining experience featuring comforting dishes, warm hospitality, and a cosy atmosphere, creating an evening filled with laughter, love, and heartfelt moments.

Dear Members,

It has been an incredible six months since I joined the Club, and I am truly grateful for the warm welcome and support from both members and staff. The experience so far has been nothing short of amazing, filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of community that makes this place so special.

As we look ahead, I am excited about the many wonderful moments we will continue to create together. In particular, I look forward to celebrating with you at our upcoming Family Day and the King’s Birthday Pool Party, both of which promise to be fantastic occasions for families and friends to come together.

We are also gearing up for an exciting five weeks of Kids Summer Camps, offering a wide range of activities for our younger members to learn, grow, and have fun during the holiday season.

Thank you once again for being part of this vibrant community. I look forward to many more memorable moments with all of you.

A CELEBRATION TO REMEMBER

When we chose the British Club to celebrate our daughter’s 7th birthday, we hoped for a lovely afternoon. What we experienced far exceeded our expectations, and that is entirely down to one exceptional member of staff, Joseph.

From the moment our group arrived, Joseph set the tone with warmth, professionalism, and a level of attentiveness that made everyone feel genuinely looked after. He was efficient, courteous, and always one step ahead, even with a table full of excited seven year olds!

What truly set Joseph apart, however, was the personal touch he brought to the occasion. Midway through the celebration, he even performed a magic trick that had the girls laughing and cheering. It was a spontaneous, joyful moment that transformed a birthday lunch into a truly memorable event.

The impact was immediate and lasting. Every single one of the girls has since declared that the British Club is where they want to celebrate their next birthday.

Joseph is a credit to the Club, and we are deeply grateful for the care and enthusiasm he brought to our daughter’s special day. Thank you, Joseph, for making it truly magical.

Celebrating our Club Stars

In April, we celebrated two outstanding team members as our Heart and Face of the Club award recipients, recognising their embodiment of the Club’s values and service spirit.

Our Heart of the Club, Low Bee Hiong, Leading Housekeeping Attendant, was recognised for her unwavering dedication behind the scenes, consistently maintaining exceptional standards of care, cleanliness, and reliability that greatly enhance members’ comfort and overall experience.

Our Face of the Club, Nur Yasmin Binti Johari, Member Relations Assistant, was recognised for her professionalism and warm, approachable manner, fostering strong relationships with members and representing the Club with sincerity and attentiveness at every interaction.

There was also a birthday celebration for our April staff birthdays. Everyone came together to share some laughter, enjoy delicious cake and most importantly, show appreciation to one another. It was such a joyous occasion, and everyone was in high spirits.

Eleven Years, One Kitchen at a Time: Inside Chef Hisham’s Journey

From Malaysia to Sous Chef at Mountbatten Bar & Grill. Chef Hisham shares the fire, the philosophy, and the mentor who made him who he is today. There is a quiet confidence that comes from nearly a decade in the same kitchen. Chef Hisham has it.

Originally from Malaysia, Chef Hisham’s culinary journey began not in western fine dining but in a Japanese restaurant, an experience that gave him an early love for precision and great ingredients. A friend’s invitation eventually brought him to The British Club, where he spent three years at the Verandah Café before moving to Mountbatten. Seven years on, he holds the title of Sous Chef and shows no signs of slowing down. This October marks his eleventh year with the Club.

At Mountbatten, getting a steak right is everything. Chef Hisham’s approach is methodical: “Most mistakes happen due to temperature control.” His solution is sous vide cooking the steak to an exact internal temperature before finishing it with a searing crust. The result speaks for itself.

Ask him for his favourite dishes at the Club and he points to the beef Wellington and lobster bisque “because you cannot get these in the sister restaurants.” Outside the Club, his heart belongs to Japanese food. Sashimi and tempura are what he misses most from his early kitchen days, and visiting Japan remains a dream.

The most memorable moment in his eleven years? The annual Best of Britain event. “We were very busy, but there is a lot you can learn. The challenge pushes our limits.” For Chef Hisham, pressure is where growth happens and it is the same philosophy he passes on to young chefs. “Be hungry to learn, and never too proud to ask. The kitchen will test you, but attitude will take you further than talent ever will.”

As for who he would cook for if he could choose anyone? His answer is immediate. Chef Johari, his mentor from his early years. “He taught me everything and made me who I am today. I am very grateful for him.”

A Blueprint for Hope: The British Club’s Commitment to Community, Climate, and Collective Good

In a world searching for models of coexistence, few places offer a more compelling blueprint than Singapore — a nation built on diversity, where economic strength and social cohesion advance together, and multiculturalism is celebrated.

This quiet yet powerful commitment to collective progress offers a vision for the future — one in which communities support one another, and growth does not come at the expense of the planet. At The British Club, this vision lived daily through a growing portfolio of sustainability and community initiatives.

This year, these efforts came together across four interconnected pillars, inspired by the elements that sustain life itself.

Water: Closing the Loop Through Textile Recovery

Water is life, yet the global fashion industry remains one of its largest consumers. During the textile drive, the Club collected over 500 kilograms of textiles, diverting them from landfill and giving them a second life through Cloop. This initiative is estimated to have conserved approximately 4 million litres of water — enough to support over 70 people in Singapore for an entire year. Each kilogram of textile reused conserves thousands of litres of water, reducing the hidden environmental costs of clothing production. This is circularity in action: materials kept in use, resources preserved, and collective choices turned into measurable environmental impact.

Earth: Restoring What Sustains Us

If water sustains life, earth anchors it. Tree planting initiatives led by the Club reflect a simple truth: the health of our environment is inseparable from the health of our communities. Each tree planted supports biodiversity, carbon sequestration, and long term resilience.

Fire: Strength, Courage, and Riding Forward Together

Fire represents energy and transformation. Through its support of the Riding for the Disabled Association of Singapore, the Club empowers individuals with disabilities to build confidence, physical strength, and joy.

Air: Energy in Motion, Giving in Action

Air carries movement and connection. The Club’s charity car wash channels collective effort into meaningful support for the Singapore Children’s Society, showing how simple actions can create real social impact.

Beyond Initiatives: Building a Culture of Care

Together, these initiatives reflect an ethos that recognises sustainability as both environmental and social, global in outlook yet deeply local in impact. The British Club affirms a belief worth celebrating communities do not wait for change — they create it.

A Scholar and a Builder of Community

At North London Collegiate School (Singapore), education is never confined to examination results alone. The School’s ethos is rooted in the belief that intellectual rigour must sit alongside character, service, and the confident pursuit of individual passions. This holistic philosophy is brought to life through students such as Benjamin Augenstein, a Grade 10 student whose journey exemplifies what it means to thrive within the NLCS (Singapore) community.

Academically, Benjamin is a highly able and curious learner, excelling particularly in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. Within the School’s knowledge-rich and intellectually demanding environment, he has embraced enrichment opportunities that allow him to explore his interests in greater depth, notably through Astrophysics Society, Competitive Coding, and the School’s drama productions. These pursuits reflect NLCS (Singapore)’s commitment to nurturing independent thinkers who are unafraid to challenge themselves beyond the confines of the curriculum.

Yet, to truly embody the NLCS ethos is to look beyond academic excellence. For Benjamin, this broader sense of purpose is most evident in his deep commitment to Scouting. Actively involved as a youth leader, he has achieved the highest rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA and has recently been nominated to receive the Vigil Honor Award within Scouting America’s Honor Society, The Order of the Arrow. Elected by his Scouting peers, this nomination recognises Benjamin’s servant leadership and cheerful service to others.

“At NLCS (Singapore), success is defined not only by academic achievement, but by the impact students make beyond the classroom.”

Service lies at the heart of Benjamin’s Scouting journey. Over recent years, he has contributed extensively to community projects across the region, including tree-planting initiatives in Nepal and the construction of facilities for a children’s shelter in Chiang Rai. Most notably, he led a major service project in Kuala Lumpur to build an arts and crafts area at a children’s shelter — overseeing volunteer recruitment, fundraising, and on-site installation. This experience demanded resilience, organisation, and leadership: qualities that NLCS (Singapore) seeks to instil in all its students.

Benjamin’s commitment to personal development is further reflected in his achievements beyond Scouting. He has been awarded the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award and is currently working towards Silver alongside his peers. The award challenges students to grow through service, skills development, physical activity, and an adventurous journey. Benjamin and his cohort have already been hard at work, laying the foundations for their Silver Award expedition in Hong Kong.

Benjamin’s story is not an exception at NLCS (Singapore), but rather a reflection of the School’s values in action. Through a culture that champions ambition while supporting individuality, students are encouraged to pursue excellence in all its forms — intellectual, personal, and ethical. In doing so, NLCS (Singapore) prepares young people not only for outstanding academic outcomes, but for lives of purpose, leadership, and contribution.

FITNESS BUZZ

Eat Smart, Feel Strong: Nutritious

Foods That Power Your Day

In a world of fad diets and superfood hype, good nutrition doesn’t need to be complicated. The most effective way to fuel your body is to focus on balanced, whole foods that provide steady energy, support muscle recovery, and keep you feeling satisfied throughout the day.

The Power Plate Formula

A nutritious meal is all about balance. Aim to include:

• Lean protein for muscle repair and fullness

• Complex carbohydrates for sustained energy

• Healthy fats for brain and hormone health

• Fruits and vegetables for vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants

Everyday Nutrient Heroes

You don’t need exotic ingredients—just smart choices:

• Brown rice or oats: slow release carbohydrates that keep energy levels stable

• Eggs, tofu, chicken breast, or fish: high quality protein sources

• Leafy greens such as spinach, kale, and bok choy are rich in iron, calcium, and fibre

• Avocados and nuts: healthy fats that support heart health

• Fruits such as bananas and berries: natural sweetness with vitamins and antioxidants

A Simple Sample Meal

• Grilled chicken or tofu

• Brown rice or quinoa

• Stir fried vegetables with olive oil

• A side of fruit

This kind of meal is easy to prepare, budget friendly, and versatile—perfect for busy lifestyles.

Bottom line: Nutritious food isn’t about restriction. It’s about giving your body what it needs to move, recover, and thrive.

Move Better, Not Harder: An Easy Workout Routine That Matches Your Nutrition

Great nutrition sets the foundation, but movement brings it to life. The good news? You don’t need intense gym sessions to see results. When paired with nutritious food, a simple, consistent workout routine can dramatically improve strength, energy, and overall well being.

PADEL Section Report

The Padel section recently held its 4th annual dinner, where a motley crew of the section’s keenest players gathered at the Verandah to celebrate another year of membership growth and the development of the BC Padel product in terms of coaching and competitive events. Organised by section members Lawrence Seah and Soumit Goswami, the event treated attendees to a sumptuous yet very reasonably priced Indian buffet. This left plenty of section resources to be directed to the beverage side of the menu. Soumit went above and beyond his duties by delivering jugs of delicious “multi-shot” Margaritas, which went down very nicely both with and without dinner.

Another highlight of the evening - maybe up there with that fourth jug of Margarita - was the section lucky draw. Lawrence sourced a Bullpadel Vertex4, a very high-end racket, at a very reasonable price. Section members “oohed” and “ahhed” whilst taking turns handling and fondling this special piece of equipment. Aneetha Vine dipped her hand into the sack and pulled out the name of the winner, the very lucky indeed Jamie Salamon, who, very coincidentally, happens to be the section convenor!

Jamie had the chance to put his prize to the test in the latest monthly Padel “Rodeo” which followed shortly after the dinner. This competitive event pits seasoned players against one another in a round robin format, whereby partners are switched after every 21 points. At the end of the event, points are tallied, and the winner is declared. The real value of Jamie’s prize became acutely obvious as he stormed to victory, almost 20 points clear of his nearest rival. Jamie subsequently declared he would sign his old racket and auction it off to the highest bidder, proceeds going to the charity of his choice!

The moral of the story? Join Padel, win a racket, win competitions, all the while enjoying the vibe and conviviality of a thriving sport section.

BC Cricket Season Off to a Flying Start!

Easter Camp at the British Club showcased the sports sections to the young ones. This year, in April, at the Easter Camp, Rob Annan, current chair of the Sports Committee, spent a few hours with the young enthusiasts, explaining the basics of cricket over an engaging session with games. The section looks to organise more such sessions during the year. Stay tuned to the BC Cricket Section Instagram page for details on such upcoming sessions.

After the mayhem in the matches in March, the BCXI started a sedate April with a seemingly comfortable win over the Spirits Cricket Team at the CSC. CSC won the toss and elected to bat and got off to an impressive start, scoring almost 120 runs for the loss of a few wickets at the halfway stage of 15 overs. But BCXI’s bowlers stuck to their lines and restricted the opposition to a score of 198. BCXI did not look to be in any trouble and chased the score down with almost three overs to spare.

The attention after this match vs the Spirits turned to the Padang, where the SCC hosted the BCXI. Picturesque Padang, set in the heart of the city, and one of the few turf wicket pitches in Singapore, always makes for a close contest between the teams. The match got underway in the afternoon at the Padang, with the BCXI winning a very good toss to bat and not field on what was a very hot after noon. BCXI posted a competitive and above-par score of 184/5 in the allotted 30 overs. The run chase from SCC got off to a great start, and SCC was ahead of the required run rate at the midway point. BCXI managed to catch up with SCC after the midway mark and set up a close finish. The match had an epic finale, with SCC grabbing a win on the last ball of the last over with a few wickets to spare. 60 overs between the two teams over a hot and humid afternoon, and a run separating them. It’s not very often that we see such close games, a picturesque venue, and a game played with a great spirit of camaraderie between friends from two great teams.

The BCXI cricket nets are held regularly on Tuesday nights at the Cage @Dempsey. If you’re planning to join a team for some light-hearted cricket fun or want to improve your cricket skills, BCXI is eager to welcome you to our group. We encourage cricketers of all skill levels to join us at our nets and continue their journey from there. Please get in touch at cricket@britishclub.org.sg for more details.

You can follow our cricket socials here ( Instagram: @cricket_thebritishclubsg ) with regular updates of our matches, tours, and other events.

TENNIS

Section Report

The British Club Tennis Championships got underway with a bang in April/ May, with the club seeing record entry levels. The Men’s Singles has 59 entries, and the Mixed Doubles has 29 pairs. This is resulting in some wonderful tennis and a logistical headache for the organisers, who are somehow managing to get all the matches played amid the wet weather and the entrants’ travel commitments. As of writing, we are at the quarterfinal stage of the singles competitions, with some great matches on the horizon. Special thanks to Ben Kiggell, our tournament director, for his unwavering dedication to the cause.

We also played an inaugural U10 and U12 intraclub junior tournament over the May Day weekend, which saw some highly competitive and very enjoyable tennis across all four courts. The standard of tennis was excellent, and it was fantastic to see the group developing both their match skills and their confidence throughout the afternoon. Congratulations to Archie Grier and Josie Roy, who topped the yellow ball and green ball groups, respectively. A warm thank you to our parent volunteers for their support— your help makes these sessions possible.

The interclub championships have finished for the first half of the year, with the Men’s first team, after dominating their division, narrowly failing to defend their title as Singapore’s STA champions in the knock-out phase. The Ladies’ WITS teams had great success, with BC Sets - the top-ranked team - winning the A Division and being promoted to the Prem B, and The Slice Girls being runners-up in the C Division. The junior interclub tournaments have also finished, with the U10 team winning their pool.

We are arranging two matches with clubs touring Singapore: on June 7 against Hong Kong Cricket Club, and, provisionally, on 16 August against the Royal Lake Club, Kuala Lumpur.

Social courts continue to be well supported, with Monday Men’s and Friday Mixed socials attracting so many members in recent weeks that we’ve had waiting lists to join. Be sure to join the WhatsApp groups if you’re a section member wanting to play social. The Mixed is so popular that it can fill up in under an hour!=
