MISSION & VISION MISSION: Brighton Center provides family & community education and developmental services to children with disabilities or delays, empowering them to achieve their individual potential making them successful in every community.
PROGRAMS & SERVICES HOME-BASED THERAPY SERVICES: AGES 0-3 Brighton's home-based therapy program provides speech, occupational, and physical therapy as well as case management services for more than 1,800 babies and toddlers with a disability or developmental delay every year.
ONSITE THERAPY SERVICES: AGES 3-5 Brighton is working to expand their home-based therapy program to site based therapy for older children with disabilities and developmental delays. Scheduled to begin 2021, this on-site therapy program will work with about 500 children every year.
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION: AGES 18M-5
Brighton operates two inclusive Early Childhood Education Centers to prepare children of all abilities for Kindergarten. This nationally accredited program (NAEYC) educates 140 children ever year.
PARENT TRAININGS
Brighton provides free trainings for parents who have a child with a disability or is struggling in school so that they understand the education laws that can support their child and provide them with every opportunity they need to successfully graduate high school.
ADVOCACY SUPPORT: AGES 3-12
Brighton provides one-on-one support to parents of children with disabilities or delays that are struggling in school. Brighton Advocates will go with parents to meetings with the schools and help ensure an appropriate education plan is in place and is setting that child up for a successful future.
OUT OF SCHOOL PROGRAMMING: AGES 5-12
Brighton is working to start a series of Out of School Programs that will operate after school and during the summer for children with disabilities and delays and will concentrate on specific skills that children with disabilities struggle with like handwriting, social skills, etc. This program is scheduled to begin in 2021.
