Police are investigating the theft of an A’Van Sportliner 1998 camper from a a Foley Street Bongaree address at Bribie Island, between May 19 and 20. It is alleged a padlock was cut from the tow ball, allowing offenders to steal the vehicle.

At the time, the van was bearing Queensland registration AY3434. Stolen boat, Beachmere

Police are investigating the theft of a boat from an Egan Avenue, Beachmere address between 10.30am and 2pm on May 23. It is alleged a chain was cut and a fence around the property was damaged, in order to gain entry and steal the boat.

CCTV footage shows a grey Ssangyong Musso four-wheel drive towing the boat in the vicinity of Bribie Island Road at about 3pm on May 23. It is alleged that this vehicle

was stolen from a Cronin Street, Morayfield address between 5.30pm on May 19 and 7.20am on May 20. It was located at a Wilton Street, Wooloongabba address at 1.20pm on May 24.

It is further alleged that the stolen vehicle has been involved in multiple offences across Brisbane including Deception Bay, Windsor, Rothwell, Dakabin, Narangba and Scarborough. Property Offences

On May 15, it is alleged a Dux Drive, Bongaree residence was broken into and camera equipment was stolen. It is alleged that entry was gained through an unlocked rear sliding door.

The resident later found that the alleged offender accidently took a video of himself on a phone which belonged to the home owner.

Between May 16 and 17, it is alleged that three houses

Between May 15 and 17, similar types of offences occurred at nine units at a complex on Foley Street, Bongaree.

It is alleged the following items were stolen from the properties: meat, cash, photographic equipment, and a portable refrigerator.

On May 24, the alleged offender was located at a Kingfisher Drive, Bongaree address when police executed a search warrant.

The 28 year-old Bongaree man was arrested and charged with break and enter and drug offences.

He is set to appear in the Caboolture Magistrates court on May 31.
