FORE THE WINNERS! EDDIE SANDIFER IV

The name sums up his mantra. This company is the brainchild of Eddie Sandifer IV, a seven-year-old New Orleans native. Eddie has been playing golf since five years of age; it was truly the only sport that he took a liking to at a young age. Eddies love for golf extends beyond playing the game; he also loves to attend golf tournaments and watch them on television as well. While watching a golf tournament on television one evening he had the question that would become the springboard for his current company “Fore the Winners”. “Dad why don’t I have my own hat and shirt like Tiger Woods?” His dad went on to explain that a lot of planning and preparation goes into creating a brand and that it also helps to be really good at golf!! room where he began to scribble logos and verbiage for his new brand. Eddie brought these ideas to his parents - who at the time didnʼt realize how seriously he was taking his plans to create something of his own- to see what they thought. When his parents saw the work and effort that heʼd put in, they decided it was time to call a family meeting! When Eddie walked into the den he had no clue what was going on, “Why are you all just sitting around looking at me?”, Eddie asked. “Weʼd like you to meet your investors “, his parents said. “Whatʼs an investor?” Once investors, capital and other terms were discussed Eddie then understood that he had people that

believed in his vision and wanted to see it become a reality. His parents also made it clear that this was a business and would require a lot of hard work! He was game!! He decided to start with hats. With little help from his parents, Eddie began to pick hat designs, colors and studied the different prices. He was put in contact with lifelong friend of his father

and world renown artist, Jerin Beasley, owner of Paint nʼ Jrink. Together the two spent several hours working through ideas, concepts and designs. In the end, they settled on the signature “IV” logo that is placed affront all of Eddieʼs flagship “Fore the Winners” hats. It is worth noting that the “IV” logo serves more than one meaning. The obvious is to represent Eddie being the fourth of his name, but the other is a play on words involving a common term used on the golf course which means to “look out” for a ball that could potentially be headed your way, “Fore”! The kid considered everything! Eddie has big plans to expand his brand beyond hats, into shirts, pants, accessories and even shoes! He is not only striving daily to become a better golfer but also a better businessman! He has tons of campaign ideas, brand designs and slogans. He wants to play for Stanford University since learned that where Tiger played. His chief slogan among them all, “Keep Winning!”
