A note from us Many of our local independent and small businesses need us now more than ever before. They’ve taken a hit once, but managing to get through a second lockdown is going to be tough; for many, this time of year provides the bulk of their annual income.

Whether it’s a pub switching to takeaways, a butcher offering local home deliveries, or a book shop arranging click and collect – they need us now. You may not be leaving your home, but you can still show them your support.

We've listed everyone who has contacted us over the last week; over 200 local businesses hoping for your support, alongside community organisations, local media, and access to further lists of local independent producers from Dorset Foodie Feed and Designed in Dorset.

We implore all of you not to completely rely on the ease of the high street giants in your phone, but to see who locally could help you instead. Food, wine, gin, gifts, puzzles, books…

So many things are available locally, provided with love by the people you walk past in the street every day, by the people desperately struggling to feed their families this winter without your custom.
