If you never been a Dinkie before here is a short information to bare in mind when downsizing to Funsize. Dinkies are rigged mesh and their clothes are mostly meant just for them. Their Hair needs to resize in all directions: x. y, z, not just scaled bigger or smaller, as our heads are different from humans. And Accessories need to at least be resized by scaling.

Dinkies are much smaller than the regular human, humanoid and anthropomorphic avatars. They all are part of a collective that is often referred to as tinies who are generally happy, food-centric, and creative creatures too adorable for words.

Dinkies were the brainchild of Etheria Parrott utilizing the SL Skeleton in a way that allows them to use many of the same animations as biggies. The trouble here is anything involving hand to head since the heads are oversized. These cool cats are found all over any Virtual Worlds and are getting ever more personalized with the intro of BOM compatible bodies. There even mods to have other animals such as pandas =).

What is a Dinkie? you may ask

Dinkies are a breed created by Etheria Parrott, who is on Secondlife aswell as in Opensim.

Dinkies are tiny-size but move like biggies; they don’t require body distortion.

Dinkies is a term used for small avatars in virtual worlds, usually thigh-high or smaller.

The Original creator Etheria Parrott figured out a way to mesh-shrink bodies smaller than normal.

The advantage of Dinkies is that they can use most animations and furniture intended for full-size avatars.

WHAT DINKIES LOVE TO DO??

Here are a few things Dinkies enjoy doing:

* Drive cars insanely. Vroom vroom. * Party. Dinkie party. The only rule is “there has to be a good reason”. “Hey, anyone wanna come dance? Dere waffles!” is considered a good reason. Standing around in a circle for more than 5 minutes is often considered a party... and quite often turns into one.

* Throw pies and toilet paper rolls. Yes, this does happen from time to time. The great thing about pies of course, is the clean-up afterward.

* Ski, race, joust, surf, parachute, play “Soccer”, shoot bows and arrows, broadjump... you name it, if it conceivably might be fun, dinkies will jump right in with all four paws and claws.

This is Built and Created by Ted Junior on Alternate Metaverse Grid for all DINKIES to feel good hanging out and making friends with other Dinkies around Opensim. This is a Safe Place and a place where all Dink ies can Relax and call Home.

We will be Opening Funsize Dinkies Resort on Wednesday 2nd Novemeber 2022 with a BIG BANG of a Special Theme starting at 10:00am - 12:00noon. (Day of the Dead, or Día de los Muertos)

This is a traditional Mexican holiday celebrated November 2. On this day, it is believed that the souls of the dead return to visit their living family members. Many people celebrate this day by visiting the graves of deceased loved ones. The Day of the Dead is observed on November 2 each year. It follows on from All Hallows Eve on October 31 and The Day of the Children and All Saints Day on November 1st.

KORYPHON ACADEMY

Koryphon Academy is a Free & Open Education Center offering educational and instructional courses for students from All Grids in OpenSim. Located on Alternate Metaverse Grid, (AMV). Koryphon Academy focuses on bringing interesting and helpful classes, lectures and workshops to ALL using multimedia appropaches and free software in some of the classes. Instructors are being gathered from across OpenSim to provide these learning these classes. Koryphon Academy is a Free & Open Education Center offering educational and instructional courses for students from All Grids in OpenSim. Located on Alternate Metaverse Grid, (AMV) has been accomplishing this for over 2 years in Koryphon Academy and many more years in “Chakras In Motion” - The Wisdom & Enlightenment Center, an extended avenue of Koryphon Academy. Towards the end of 2021 we added yet another extended avenue of Education Called “The Seed” - Self awareness, empowerment and enlightenment.

Koryphon Academy focuses on bringing interesting and helpful classes, lectures and workshops to ALL using multimedia appropaches and free software in some of the classes. Instructors are being gathered from across OpenSim to provide these learning these classes.
