An exhibition and sale of rare, handwoven and heritage textiles and vintage, handcrafted silver jewellery from the Indian subcontinent. In this year’s edition, we showcase the life and work of Patan Patola master weaver and national award winner, Kanubhai Salvi from Patan, Gujarat. Also, on display will be silver and gemstone jewellery by London based jewellery designer Josephine Nirmala and rare, handwoven Benarasis, Kanjeevarams and Jamdanis by The Far East Art Studio. For the first time in a decade, ‘Sanskriti’ Reading presents Bengal’s pride - the Bengali folk band DOHAR - a group of folk musicians of international repute. Their music ranges from the folk songs of Eastern India and Bangladesh to the songs of Tagore, Lalan Fakir, Raja Ramon, Baul Shah Abdul Karim and others.
