dne's note DIKSHA TYAGI | NEWS EDITOR Hey Bunnies! I’m Diksha, your Division News Editor this term, and welcome to my first ever newsletter!! I’m so excited to be creating your newsletters from now on, and even though it's not perfect, I still hope you’ll love reading this one. School’s finally ended, and I can already feel we’re entering a memorable summer. Go out and have sososo much fun! We all deserve it after this year. Even more so, make sure to keep in touch over the summer! Our division has so many fun things planned for the upcoming months, so BEE there…you don’t wanna regret not showing up! Seriously, it’ll be so fun, and this is the best time to get super involved with (hopefully) some extra time on your hands. Thanks so much for checking out my newsletter! It was made with lots of love, for both this division and for our beastie bunnies <3 Keep an eye out for the future newsletters, and if you have any criticisms for me or any questions for the division, reach out! We’re always looking to improve. Hoppin' into the summer,

event recaps

the month in review This was the last month of our school year, and we went out with a bang! Our clubs hosted their last service events, had tons of member participation, and tearfully said goodbye to all our seniors. We had a division service event as well, a Sorting Day where our volunteers helped sort through donated items for low-income families. We also held the second DCM of the term, our May DCM, where we had lots of fun and announced our club of the month. We achieved so much this month, with close to 1,000 service hours in the last three months! Be proud, and keep an eye out for all of our upcoming events as well!

May DCM

On Saturday, May 21st, we had our May DCM at sea. At the DCM, the ‘22-’23 term DLT was introduced, a fun scavenger hunt was held, and our members created cards to commemorate our veterans! All the members had so much fun at the pirate-themed DCM of the term. In addition, the club of the month was also recognized for their outstanding work!

events NORTH HIGH SCHOOL CHILDREN'S BOOK DONATION DRIVE On May 14th, North High Key Club hosted a donation drive at our school. At the drive, members donated children’s books and we donated them to a local library. This summer, the library plans to have high school students volunteer to come read the donated books to children.

NORTH TORRANCE HIGH SCHOOL EDISON FAMILY FUN NIGHT Edison Elementary school held their annual Family Fun Night and reached out to so for help in managing the activities and booths. Our volunteers ran several kid carnival game booths and snack stations.

articles WEST TORRANCE HIGH SCHOOL In the month of May, West finished up its community service projects as the last month we offer community service events for semester 2. This means that we have received the amount of people who are active and the total amount of service hours we have! 30 members were active and we had around 600 service hours bringing us to a grand total of 1614.95 hours for this school year! We wrapped up our year with a bunch of service events such as park cleanups and helping out at our school’s Japanese Cultural Festival. Also, we posted a bunch of service events to do over the summer including outside organization ones and division ones. The incentive to do these events is that you get an early head start on any events for the new school year! We also went to the June DCM and had a lot of fun!

REDONDO UNION HIGH SCHOOL During the month of May, our RUHS Key Club held our final club meeting, celebrating accomplishments of individual members for their overachieving participation in volunteering opportunities and awarding senior members chords for consistent volunteering as well as achievements overall as a club in the 21-22 term. We sponsored a School Supplies Drive for the underfunded students of South Park Elementary in LAUSD, donating over 100 items. Volunteers set up booths and cleaned up at the Lincoln Elementary International Night and worked a fundraising popcorn booth for Kiwanis during Memorial Day weekend.
