Before the State Meet, both the girls and boys teams won the North State Swimming Meet held at the Courthouse on Lakeland Dr. The swim team is under the direction of Coach Collins, who is assisted by the senior and junior captains of the team. Senior captains are Will Booth and Niijor May, the fastest girl on the team. The junior captains are Nick Burrow and Jack Collins, the fastest boy on the team. St. Joe stages successful Homecoming – Hollywood style By ARMONI WILLIAMS The Bear Facts From the themed dress days to the red carpet that greeted guests at the dance, St. Joseph Catholic School Homecoming 2014 was one to remember. With the theme “A Week in Hollywood,” students dressed like their favorite film characters and heroes during the school week before turning the Homecoming dance into a Hollywood bash. “I think this year’s Homecoming was better than last year,” said Lucy Hamil, a sophomore homecoming maid. Homecoming is an annual week-long celebration designed to promote what makes St. Joe special. It’s also an annual event that often attracts hundreds of St. Joe alumni who attend the annual Homecom-
