As a Bascom Resident Artist, your well-rounded experience will include curriculum design, instruction, studio management, public presentations, community service, exhibition installation, artist statement and portfolio development. The Bascom's Resident Artists are critical members of our team. We entrust them with real responsibilities that uphold the mission of our organization. Residents must be disciplined, hard workers who are able to tackle a broad range of projects that will prepare them for a career in the arts.
Residency Opportunity Open to ALL Photographers! ¥ ¥ ¥ ¥
Free housing $2,500 Stipend Solo exhibition opportunity in The Joel Gallery (April 22 Ñ August 5, 2023) 24 hour access to private workspace, Epson P800 Printer, studio lighting and Epson V600 Scanner. Residents are welcome to bring their own equipment. (NOTE: The Bascom does not have a darkroom)

Residency Responsibilities
1. Cover letter describing your interest in ¥ Create work for exhibition the Bascom Residency Program ¥ Present a photography focused 2. Artist Statement. (less than 300 words) S.T.E.M. workshop for middle grade 3. R sum or CV students (Presented at two schools) 4. Fifteen numbered high-resolution images ¥ Present artist talk during the (accepting jpg, tif, pdf via email, or through exhibition DropBox, Hightail, etc.*) ¥ Present portfolio at monthly 5. Image inventory (docx or pdf) with Title, Bascom Photography Club meeting Year, Medium, Dimensions 6. Two professional references with contact information Application Deadline: December 30, 2022 Incomplete applications will not be considered.
