Bascom Shop

• NEW! Beginning April 26th, The Bascom will host an Atrium Series in which 16-20 retail artists will be featured in The Bascom's Greehey Atrium during four multi-week presentations of their work. A visiting professional guest curator will be responsible for selecting the artists and their work, and supervising the installation and presentation of the pieces in the Atrium gallery. (series 1: through June 10)

The Bascom offers private, personalized art experiences in clay, drawing, painting or other arts and craft mediums. These personalized art experiences for individuals and groups can be tailored specifically to your schedule and interests.

Gather with three practicing textile artists from Western North Carolina, walking through two current exhibitions ( e Ravel and e Rest and Emergence) at e Bascom as they discuss works on display. Followed by a slide show and an open dialogue among the artist-practitioners and art students currently enrolled in the Professional Crafts –Fiber Program at Haywood Community College.
