Summer activities for young people

School holidays can be pressure points for some families due to increased costs and reduced incomes. Barnet. Active. Creative. Engaging (BACE) Holidays provides engaging and healthy activities with an emphasis on physical, emotional, and nutritional wellbeing during the school holidays. Activities may include football, cricket, arts, and crafts, performing arts and lots more.

BACE Holidays is funded by the Department for Education and run by Barnet Council and Young Barnet. The programme provides holiday support for children and young people between aged 5-16 years old who receive free school meets in Barnet. BACE summer programme runs from 25 July to 26 August in many schools across the borough including Canada Vanilla Young People Centre. F.U.S.E Youth Project also have activities on offer that include a variety of sports, crafts, youth forums, off-site trips, cooking, hair and beauty, and other youth-focused activities for those living in Stonegrove, Grahame Park or West Hendon. For more information visit fuseyouthproject.com
