As we head into the warmer months, we’re thrilled to present a brand-new season bursting with energy, excitement, and entertainment for all. Thank you for being part of our journey so far this year—your support continues to make everything we do possible, and our team have been busy behind the scenes laying a brand-new stage floor, redecorating our Stalls Bar and carrying out essential maintenance ready for your next visit!
We open this season with new play (This Is Not A) Happy Room, starring Sherlock’s Amanda Abbington. This comedy about a family of bickering siblings recently received excellent reviews for its London run and visits Windsor to bring some light comic relief this May. Jenny Seagrove returns in The Anastasia File alongside Simon Shepherd at the end of May, followed by Writers In-Residence Catherine O’Reilly and Tim Churchill’s new play Doubting Thomas, including an all-star cast!
The height of Summer brings one of our most joyful traditions—our annual Community Production. This year, we’re handing over the stage to Grease, the ultimate feel-good musical, brought to life by an incredible cast of local talent, directed and created by a team of industry professionals. Expect high energy, infectious tunes, and all the spirit of Rydell High right here in Windsor!
As we move into the autumn, we welcome the gripping stage adaptation of The Shawshank Redemption —a powerful story of hope, resilience, and friendship, whilst the thrills are provided by Charles Dickens’ The Signalman, and new horror story The Void, from the producers of 2024’s Shock Horror.
This year, we’re delighted to present Cinderella—a sparkling festive treat for all ages, and with some performances close to selling out already, don’t miss your chance to grab your tickets to the Royal Ball!
With so many exciting productions on the horizon, early booking is highly recommended.
Whether you’re a regular visitor or are just discovering us for the first time, we can’t wait to welcome you to Theatre Royal Windsor.
