Welcome to THEATRE ROYAL WINDSOR

We hope you have all had a fantastic start to the year!

As we step into a brand-new season, we would like to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible year 2024 was for Theatre Royal Windsor. We have shared so many unforgettable moments with you and want to say a huge thank you for your continued support—we couldn’t do it without you!

This season we have another exciting programme filled with must-see shows that we cannot wait for you to experience, including The Anastasia File - a new adaptation of the tense and thought-provoking historical mystery. This will be our first full-length home-produced production this year. The Windsor On-Air Company return with Alan Bennett’s beloved The Lady in the Van as a live radio play, starring the brilliant Nichola McAuliffe, joined by Matthew Cottle and Sara Crowe.

One of the highlights of our programme this Spring will be the world premiere of Doubting Thomas, written by our talented Writers in Residence, Catherine O’Reilly and Tim Churchill. This dynamic duo brought us last year’s critically acclaimed thriller Closure, and we can’t wait for audiences to experience their latest work—part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing new writing through our new Creatives in Residence initiative.

Looking ahead to the summer, we are thrilled to present two magical, family-friendly musicals: The Lightning Thief – The Percy Jackson Musical, direct from the West End, and Roald Dahl’s The Enormous Crocodile – The Musical. Both promise to bring adventure, music, and wonder to the stage, perfect for theatre lovers of all ages.

And there’s so much more to come in our autumn season! Many of these productions are on sale now, and with demand high, we encourage early booking so you don’t miss out. We’re incredibly proud to continue bringing top-quality theatre to our community, and we can’t wait to see you again this year!
