When I first read th is play, I knew I wanted to direct it. This play illuminated for m e, the very real experiences of fam ily members and loved ones th at I have always struggled to unde rstand. THE BRIDGE PROJECT The Bridge Project is the brainchild of TheatreiNQ’s Terri Brabon and Brendan O’Connor, who both ventured from Townsville to carve careers in the professional theatre industry. With a genuine desire to assist regional emerging talent to launch careers in the mainstream industry, The Bridge Project was officially launched in 2012.

Through a series of masterclasses with guest industry professionals from Sydney & Melbourne, ongoing professional development, and involvement in professionally-driven local productions with TheatreiNQ, The Bridge Project aims to give our promising emerging talent the best start possible, on-going guidance and mentorship throughout their careers. Graduates of the Project have gained acceptance into some of the most prestigious training courses in the country, including NIDA, WAAPA and Griffith University whilst others are now working professionally in the industry.
