PUNK ROCK
Punk Rock follows the lives of a group of students in their final months at a prestigious English grammar school. When new girl Lilly arrives, she must learn quickly how things operate here. She forms close friendships and falls in love. But as they frantically prepare for their mock exams, these teens struggle with the pressures of an ever-changing future. They may have the world at their feet but they also carry it’s weight on their shoulders.

Mentoring The Bridge Project has been one of the most rewarding things I have done in my life as an Actor. But over the past twelve years, I have seen a swift decline in the mental health of young people that saddens me. Stories like this one are all too true in today’s world. While Punk Rock doesn’t necessarily offer any solutions, I appreciate the effort it makes to explore the struggle and highlight the challenge we face when asked to extend our empathy beyond our understanding or experience.
I feel very privileged to get to work with the next generation and to have them teach me. I am very proud of what they achieve as individuals but more importantly, what we all create together as a team - both young and old, experienced and emerging. Learning from each other and growing together.
