n Brian Moreland (Co-Chair) Currently profiled on Ebony’s Power 100 List and “Variety’s 2020 Top 10 on Broadway to Watch,” Brian Moreland is a two-time Tony Awardnominated creative lead producer for Broadway.

He is currently represented on Broadway with August Wilson’s The Piano Lesson, starring Samuel L. Jackson, Danielle Brooks and John David Washington.
His previous works include: The Lifespan of a Fact with Cherry Jones, Daniel Radcliffe and Bobby Cannavalle, The Sea Wall/A Life with Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Sturridge, The Sound Inside with Mary-Louise Parker for Broadway to name a few, along with Charles Randolph-Wright’s Cuttin Up starring Blair Underwood, Joe Morton and Tisha Campbell, and While We Breathe.

He devotes his spare time to the Theatre Development Fund (TDF) and is active member of the Board of Governors at The Broadway League, where he is also Co-Chair of the Multicultural Task Force, NYC & CO. Board of Directors, and a Trustee of the board for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. n Rick Miramontez (Co-Chair) began his career, direct from college, as the press director of the Center Theatre Group/ Ahmanson Theatre where he organized the campaigns for more than 25 major productions. He was the press director for the 1987 and 1990 Los Angeles Festival (the latter under the direction of Peter Sellars), seminal events in the American cultural world, where he introduced Cirque du Soleil to the Yee U.S. media, as well as Peter Brook’s epic The Mahabharata. From 1988-1996, Miramontez headed his own firm, Rick Miramontez Company, which represented many of the major arts events on the West Coast. In New York as President and Founder of O&M Co. he has represented many of Broadway’s Tony Award-winning hits, including Dear Evan Hansen; Hello, Dolly!; Fun Home; Kinky Boots, Beautiful; The Humans; Clybourne Park; Hair; School of Rock; Cats; Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark; Hadestown; MJ; Company; To Kill a Mockingbird; and Springsteen on Broadway to name a few, as well as the Curran theater in San Francisco. Miramontez is associated with the Frida Kahlo Estate in Mexico City as well as the upcoming biographical musical FRIDA.
n Harold Steward (they/he) is the Executive Director and Cultural Strategist at The Theater Offensive. Harold is a cultural organizer and arts administrator from Dallas, TX. Harold previously served as Manager of the South Dallas Cultural Center, a division of the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs. Harold also founded Fahari Arts Institute in 2009 after recognizing a gap in the landscape for LGBTQ artists of color in Dallas. Harold is a proud member of Alternate ROOTS, as well as Board member for National Performance Network/Visual Artists Network, Theatre Communications Group, and Steering Committee of the Black Theater Commons. Harold is a founding member of NextGen National Arts Network and Founding Partner of Steward Cultural Development Group, as well as a Cultural Equity facilitator and Affiliate Faculty in the Department of Theater Studies at Emerson College.
n Alex Newell Since bursting into the collective American consciousness with his groundbreaking portrayal as Unique Adams on the Fox musical series “Glee,” Alex has gone on to enjoy spectacular success in television, musical theater, and pop music. TV Credits include the recent fan favorite Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist along with the Emmy®-nominated Christmas special; Our Kind of People, and the hit Fox series, Empire.

n Sidney DuPont is a 2022 Tony Award nominee, originating the role of Washington Henry in Paradise Square at the Barrymore Theater. (Tony Award nomination) and most recently in Chicago in the Fall of 2021 as Matron “Mama” Morton having first appeared in the Broadway production in 2006. Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (directed by Phylicia Rashad) for which she won the NAACP Award, and the Carnegie Hall Concert version of South Pacific which was also broadcast on PBS’ Great Performances. She received the Daytime Emmy Award for her role as Lillian Edwards in Sesame Street and is beloved by audiences for voicing the lead muse Calliope in Disney’s animated feature Hercules. Her most recent television appearances include the Baz Luhrmann-directed Netflix series The Get Down, as well as Russian Doll and Search Party. n Jerry Dixon is an award-winning director, actor, writer, teacher, and performing arts consultant. As a director Dixon has helmed premiere or development productions of Had It Blue, Hart Island, Ferguson, Modern, A Proper Place, Barnstormer, Gun & Powder, Take Me America, Great Wall, and Hansel & Gretl & Heidi & Gunter. Regional direction credits include The Curious Incident of The Dog In The Nighttime, Songs For A New World, Show Boat, Bernarda Alba, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Crowns, and The Full Monty. n Dionne Hendricks is a Music Director/Conductor, Pianist, Arranger, Orchestrator, and Composer/ Lyricist. Graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2021 and BerkleeNYC in 2022. Dionne has worked as Music Director for numerous Musical productions in the New York and Boston area, including Mamma Mia, In The Heights, Little Shop of Horrors, The Last Guardian, and most recently Ella: First Lady of Song at the Madison Theater, and a work shop of the new musical Making Michaeux.

He is now developing a new jazz musical A Great Day in Harlem with his collaborator Alexandra Maria Vollero, aiming for a full reading of the show in early 2023.
n Mathis Picard, born May 30th, 1995, is a French-Malagasy pianist, composer, producer, and bandleader who currently resides in New York City. Rooted in the tradition of live acoustic performance while incorporating the latest musical technology, Mathis’ created his own style that merges Electronic Bass Music, Jazz, Classical & Stride Piano. Mathis, who began playing at 3 years old, was immediately passionate about music from the dance idiom and now focuses on sharing that passion globally, whether its with his orchestra, Mathis Sound Orchestra [Forthcoming Debut Album ‘World Unity’], his solo project [Forthcoming Debut Album ‘Live At The Museum’] or his emerging quartet, The Elements. When not performing his music, Mathis has the honor of sharing the stage with artists such as Mwenso & The Shakes, Braxton Cook, Ron Carter, Lillias White, Lee Ritenour, Jason Moran, CROWN, Kindness, Wynton Marsalis and more.
n The Edison Ballroom Originally opened in the 1930s as the Grand Ballroom of the adjacent Edison Hotel, The Edison Ballroom re-opened in 2008 after an extensive renovation that preserved its original flair and art deco style.
