Relaxed Performance Pack

For teachers, parents, carers Please use this pack at your discretion as there are spoilers. We know that you are best placed to judge how much information to share in order to prepare for your visit.

There are four performers in the show and their names are Grace, Dorcas, Teele and Clarke. They tell a story by singing, beatboxing and through puppetry. The performers don’t speak very much during the show.

This is GRACE Grace is a performer and a beatboxer

This is DORCAS Dorcas is a performer and a singer

This is TEELE Teele is a performer and a puppeteer

This is CLARKE Clarke is a performer and a puppeteer

Sometimes in this show, the singing and beatboxing can get quite loud.

The music might get louder and quieter.

The pictures of the show are from the original tour and do not include images of Grace and Teele.

Sometimes the lights will go dark for a moment when a puppet called Mikey Mic appears, but then they will come back again.

There will also be disco lights.

You will see: four performers singing and dancing on the stage.

One performer will appear from a box.

They will be using puppets.

They will tell everyone a story. At the end, they will invite you to dance with them.

You will hear: music, singing and beatboxing. Beatboxing is when a performer makes sounds of beats with their mouth.

There will also be other sound effects, like the sound of wind and animal noises.

At the end of the show, the performers will wave goodbye. The lights will come on over the seats and it is time to go.
