Plastic Should Be Banned Diana Cruz, Copy Editor Banning plastic has been an ongoing discussion for quite some time now and it shouldn’t even be a question. At this point it should be an action. Plastic has done too much damage to our world, and you have to remember this planet is the only one we have, so let’s care for it. This Earth has already surpassed so much and just like us, Earth needs a second to breathe. We can give our planet, that has given us a home, an opportunity to glow and nurture its leaves, polish its waters, and clean its air. Every day we go to the grocery store, we depend on plastic bags to make carrying our purchases easier; that is if you still use plastic bags now that some stores have been replacing them or adding a price on their plastic bags to limit the amount of plastic bags people buy. Plastic bags have become part of our lives, and you might not think much about them after use. Plastic bags end up being blown away into our environment. Now you can find plastic bags anywhere, laying around. Plastic bags are so light that they can travel for miles and end up in places that can only damage our environment, like oceans which results in water pollution. Plastic bags are made out of a material named synthetic, which is indestructible.
