Tucked away behind ancient trees, and peaceful private gardens, The Alverton is a hidden oasis perched just on the outskirts of Truro. A safe and relaxing space for you and your guests to grieve, share anecdotes, or raise a glass in loving memory.

The Alverton

Whether you’re organising an intimate gathering for your nearest and dearest, or expecting a larger group to the celebration of life ceremony, we have a selection of venue spaces and rates to suit your size and budget. Discover our venue hire rates, and added extra prices below.

Our chefs have the catering under control, so you can pay all your attention to being present on the day. Choose from hot or cold buffet options, or opt for an afternoon tea for your guests to graze on. If you have something else in mind, feel free to speak to our team, who would be more than happy to accommodate any dietary requirements where possible.

The Duchy

The Duchy overlooks our tranquil terrace and provides a smaller, more intimate alternative to the larger suites. It is airy and open with a wall of mullioned windows.

The Oak

The Oak can seat up to 40 guests, it has large windows at the front of the hotel providing lots of natural daylight and various options for tea, coffee and buffet stations.

The Great Hall

The Great Hall is our largest room and can seat up to 140 people. The set up would work cabaret or theatre style with atmospheric lighting and original features.
