New requirement begins June 2023 to allow existing Members to adjust their personal purchasing this year.

Effective July 2022, a maximum of 300 Personal Volume (PV) will count towards Group Volume when calculating the Director Growth Bonus and Director Three-Deep Bonuses (previously was 3,000 PV). This helps AIM comply with best practices in the direct selling industry, and benefits Members growing their downline instead of bonus buying or inventory loading.

Effective September 2022, a total of 600 Group Volume (GV) accumulated within three consecutive months will be required to promote to Preferred Member title (previously was 450 GV).

Men and women do share many of the same health issues, though the frequency and outcomes vary.

In Canada, a man s life expectancy is still about 5 years shorter than a woman s. Some of this discrepancy is due to men being up to four times more likely to die from unintentional injury, homicide, and suicide. Men are considered to be less risk adverse, thus putting themselves in more dangerous situations, and more likely to be excessive in drinking, smoking, and other unhealthy indulgences. Some biological differences add to the life-expectancy gap. For instance, men naturally lack the hormone estrogen, which provides women with a biological layer of protection against coronary disease.

However, perhaps the most preventable element is a man s general reluctance to go the doctor and have conditions diagnosed and treated. According to Cleveland Clinic studies, two-thirds of men avoid going to their doctors to have health concerns checked out, and when they do, 37% say they withheld some information from their doctors. As a result, many conditions that could be treated early end up reaching more serious and less treatable stages.

According to an NCHS Data Brief, up to 80% of men would visit the doctor if their partners encouraged them to do so. Therefore, if you are concerned about a man in your life, do ask him to seek medical care earlier rather than later. Doing so may have a huge positive impact in that man s life.

Lung Lung function declines with age, leaving seniors more susceptible to developing lung disorders such as COPD. About 1.3 million or 20.2% of Canadians aged over 65 were living with COPD in 2016-2017, whereas men were 1.1 times more likely than women to have COPD. Blood Sugar Between 2016 and 2017, the percentage of men diagnosed with blood sugar issues increased from 7.6% to 8.4%, while women stayed at 6.3% of the population.

Prostate More than half of men in their 60s and up to 90% of men over 70 have urinary symptoms, such as frequent daytime and night-time urination, weak urine flow, and incomplete voiding caused by prostate enlargement.

Mental Wellness While many Canadians live under high levels of stress, men are less likely than women to engage in healthy lifestyle behaviours to counteract it. More than half of Canadian men are not getting enough sleep, exercising enough, and/or eating as healthy as they should.

Heart Roughly 1 in 12 Canadian adults are diagnosed with heart disease, which is the 2nd leading cause of death in Canada. Men are 2 times more likely to suffer a heart attack than women.

Erectile Dysfunction The prevalence of ED varies with age ranging from 1% for males under 19 years to 25% for those aged 75+.
