You are eligible to begin accruing contest points in March 2024 or the month in the contest in which you or your personally sponsored Member promotes to the title of Preferred Member, Group Builder or Director.

Only activities that occur during the contest period (March 1 to August 31, 2024) are counted.

A minimum of 80 contest credits are required to be eligible to compete for a prize.

To qualify to earn contest credits, the Member’s order(s) must be paid for by and shipped to him or her. I entered the Ride Joburg Bicycle Race that was held on Sunday, 19 November 2023. The Wednesday before the race, I had a stomach bug that forced me to stay in bed for one and a half days. Although not race ready I decided to compete in the race anyway as all the logistics was already finalised.

I ordered a big portion of sushi the evening before the race, as it is a good source of carbohydrates and fairly light on the stomach. I experienced cramps and discomfort when I was not even halfway through my meal, I realised that there is no way that I would be able to finish my dinner and possibly would not finish the race the next day either.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS Is the iodine in table salt the same as the iodine in BarleyLife?

Yes. Iodine is a natural mineral that is found in the soil. As our barley plants grow, they take up trace elements of iodine. BarleyLife contains naturally occuring iodine at 3 mcg per 4-gram serving.

Why is it recommended to mix BarleyLife with water & lemon juice but not recommended to mix BarleyLife with orange juice due to the acidity?

Lemon juice is acidic however it has a very low PRAL value. PRAL (Potential Renal Acid Load) is a calculation that converts the protein and select mineral content of food into a PRAL value and it’s measured in molar equivalents per day. Acidifying foods have a positive PRAL value and alkalising foods have a negative PRAL value. Higher protein and phosphorous contribute to increased acid in the blood. Higher potassium, magnesium, and calcium result in decreased acid in the blood. Now before you begin avoiding all protein foods, you need to know that vegetable protein that is low in the sulfur-containing amino acids cysteine and methionine increases our kidney’s ability to remove acid from the blood through a process called Net Acid Excretion (NAE).

Protein is a vital macronutrient in our diet and you can balance its intake with alkalising foods.

How do I know whether Para 90 is working? Will I experience any side effects or detoxification symptoms?

Most people look for parasites in their stools, and many do see them; however, not everyone does. Positive signs include a poking sensation in the abdomen and itchy or crawling sensations on the skin. You should remember that in the process of cleansing, there may be some discomfort; parasites are not easily dislodged. Some users experience breakouts on their skin, and others feel nauseated or somewhat tired. You may also notice increased bowel movements, looser stools and more frequent urination.

Is there anyone who should not use Para 90?
