CPAAA provides information, assistance and support to help people with challenges they may experience.

Together we make a great team that you can rely on.

CPAAA helps seniors, persons with physical disabilities and their caregivers to navigate individualized steps and address questions about options.

People we work with need information and resources to address changing health circumstances or changes in daily functioning so that they or their loved one can remain in their home and community.

CPAAA provides the statewide Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) call center. Through the call center we offer information, assistance and referrals to all Kansans, simplifying access to needed services.

CPAAA offers other services including assessments, transportation, care-management, volunteer opportunities and diabetes education. It partners with, and helps fund, local agencies such as the active age that provides various services to adults 55+ and others in need.

Each year we get better. And this – our 4th Resource Guide – is our best yet.

We have consolidated and refined our listings to make it more efficient for the reader, and we’ve included editorial material on most pages.

In May we ran the first of four ads in the active age alerting you and other advertisers about our 4th annual Guide. We asked you to think about promoting your company or service. We got the attention, and support, of more than 117 advertisers. You all are great.

What surprised us was that by July we were getting phone calls from readers wanting to know when they could get their Resource Guide. This was a first.

What this tells us is that readers are now familiar with this annual publication, and they want it. Some will use it for themselves.

Others will use it to help a friend, a relative or a parent.

And some will simply pick it up from a news rack to see what it’s about.

Because the information includes community resources, health and wellness, housing, and activities and entertainment, there is something inside this Guide for almost everyone.
