Easter Reflection and Prayer

The snowflakes have come to a halt and nature has begun to bloom. Spring is overtaking Winter and will shine through soon.

The bears yawn and wake from their rest while the birds migrate back north. Although beautiful we cannot forget the reason it was brought forth. Our Lord and Savior has risen, To save us from this terrible prison. He is the reason we can experience the natural beauty of the Earth, So that we can see for ourselves the lure of rebirth. To shine his light and to bring us hope. So we no longer feel the worry of having to mope, To bring his reign with love and passion, So that we can model HIM in our own fashion. Let us remember the ultimate sacrifice he made, As he did it so that our debts could be paid. The sad gift of giving us his life, Only so he could calm our angry little strife. Let us reflect on our times of ungratefulness and jealousy, And remember that HE died on the Cross to bring on a legacy. Rejoice Rejoice for he has come to reign, Come to love and to heal our pain.

Hallelujah to Our God for rescuing us, And bringing on a new era thus. Let us walk through the three most important days in history, So that we can unfold the truth of the Paschal Mystery For Our God has come here for a mission, To sow seeds of love in fruition. For Jesus would never forsake his people, So let him shine on top of the steeple. Shine so bright that we cannot see, The sad place we let the world be. Lord, as You the let the world bloom on Easter Free the Earth from her chains and release her.

Dear Lord, Lent has now begun and with that we will begin to prepare for Easter and the Resurrection of your Son. As Easter approaches we remember how your Son gave his life for us on the cross. Please guide all people of this world to live a Christ-like life of service and humility towards their community. As we remember all the sufferings Christ endured, our hearts are saddened. Though this brings sadness to our hearts, we can take solace in the hope that his death and resurrection provided us eternal life. As we approach Easter, it’s a time of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Please help all of your young children as they navigate this time and send your protection over all humankind. During this season we can reflect on your bright blessings of peace and life. We take a moment during this Lenten season to remember all the holy people of our family who live now in You and those who await their own glorious resurrection into heaven. Send your protection over all humankind as they travel on Easter Day to celebrate the resurrection of your Son. Lord, help us to live in the gladness and grace of Easter Sunday, everyday of our lives. Let us have hearts full of thankfulness for your sacrifice of your one and only Son. Let us use this time to reflect upon what we could do in service for you and that leads us to a more fulfilled life. May we work everyday to spread the word of Christ to the fellow young people around us. Guide all humankind to be able to reflect on their gifts and celebrate the resurrection of your son in a special way. Let all people experience the glorious love of Christ and share in his passion. Lead us through this Lenten season as we spread the joy and peace to all humankind that we celebrate on Easter Sunday.
