Dover and above Repairs to the sea wall are underway STORMY weather, 30ft waves, and even the risk of unexploded bombs have not stopped staff carrying out urgent work to protect the railway at one of Britain’s most iconic sites. Major work is needed to repair damage to 250m of sea wall and railway track at the White Cliffs of Dover after cracks and sinkholes started to appear on Christmas Eve.
