New protocol introduced across the region A NEW Live Conductor Rail Protocol will help keep people who are working within one metre of a conductor rail safer. The new protocol was briefed to staff working at a Brighton site ahead of it becoming mandatory on 29 April. This now means that anyone working or walking within one metre of a live conductor rail must be pre-authorised to do so. Staff at Brighton, who are part of a huge project across the area to install new cabling, were introduced to the new protocol on site by Senior Construction Manager Paul Burr.
