EDITOR’S NOTE

The Gossipmonger, also known as the taleteller, or the never-gonna-keep-your-secret-even-if-you-told-me-so kind of creature. An advocator of lies about someone’s private life. The one who pays perfect attention to the mistakes of others than the one’s it commits. The unnecessary politician who drags you down to keep itself atop. A toxic waste disguising itself as your cravings, waiting for you to dive in and become the psycho-author that you’ll never recover from. IT’LL CHANGE WHO YOU ARE. This year’s Ebb&Tide entitled “The Gossipmonger”, delves into the never been told secrets of people you may or may not know. Stories that had been hesitated to share because of the gossips and lies that spread as quick as a virus and tries to encapsulate the truth. It’s about time that we address the issues created by us, told by us, or us being the victim of the so called society, and deliver a message that these gossips, lies, and issues are nothing but a pile of wasted confrontations and understatements. If we tell the truth, and nothing but the truth, then maybe we’ll be able to recover our corrupted souls.

It’s sad, but I’ve realized at this point in my life that it’s time to stop reaching out for people who don’t want to do the same with you. And that’s okay. Our happiness doesn’t always have to depend on our relationship with our friends.
