High power blast freezing in an intermodal container body for easy transport

Key Features:

Internal false ceiling to ensure focused load penetration by cold air mass.

The 60kW must be hardwired into a 250A switched isolator. It has a max draw of 180A capable of bringing loads to -28°C.

Refrigerant: 70kg R452A (equivalent to 149.9 tonnes of carbon dioxide).

Approximate time for bringing 10 tonnes of beef from chill to frozen 24-36 hours. *

We developed ourmultiple unit freezers forthese locations which are speciallysuited to PCM (Phase Changing Material) packs and dryproducts that do not perspire. These products provide extracooling powercompared to ourGrade Arange,but can still be powered byIEC 60309 (Commando) plugs.

•One handed operation with ergonomic pull handle.

•Trace heater in both the door leaf and the door frame to prevent the door from freezing shut.

•Pressure equalisation to ensure it is easy to open regardless of the internal and external temperatures.

•Locking handle prevents outside access meaning cargo can be kept secure, but it can still be opened on the inside even when locked to ensure no one is accidentally locked inside.

•Door tie back to prevent door accidentally closing during loading.

•Lightweight, timber free door with corrosion resistant hinges to ensure robustness and longevity.

•Door switch to shut o cooling unit when the door is opened to prevent ice build up and to reduce energy costs.

•Energy e cient insulated Curtains 5-6 times longer life span than PVC strip curtains. 3 times more e cient than PVC strip curtains. Reduces wear on evaporator allowing optimal settings to be reached quicker. Provides a vapour barrier which reduces condensation, oor ice and associated hazards.
