Howdy, Raiders! I hope that you enjoy this welcome issue of the 15th Street News. In this welcome issue, we have provided a few letters written by important members of our community, a list of clubs here at Rose State, a map of campus, and places where you can find student discounts. Myself and the other editors look forward to providing you with valuable and entertaining content in our publications throughout the year. Thank you to our adviser Darcy Delaney-Nelson, for your continued support and guidance while making our first publication. Happy reading!

Here’s to a new semester! I hope the information contained within will help as you get back into the swing of things. To any new students coming straight from high school, I wish you the best of luck on this new journey you’re embarking on. I’d like to thank our adviser, Darcy Delaney-Nelson, for her support in this creation of this first issue. Live long and prosper!

About The Nerd:

One of the funniest plays ever written, this extraordinarily inventive, side-splitting comedy was first presented by the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, then produced in Great Britain, then went on to Broadway. The action centers on the hilarious dilemma of a young architect who is visited by a man he’s never met but who saved his life in Vietnam—the visitor turning out to be an incredibly inept, hopelessly stupid “nerd” who outstays his welcome with a vengeance.
