questions answered What can I expect during my appointment?
During your appointment, you will meet your personal Gift Guru who will greet you with a glass of fizz (or other beverage of your choice). They will then explain the service, give you advice on how to achieve the very best from your gift list, and of course, answer any questions you may have. Then comes the fun bit! You get to explore our four-story Townhouse, scanning all the wonderful items you love and wish to add to your gift list as you go.
Do I need to prepare anything ahead of my appointment?
Before coming to our Townhouse we advise fully charging your phone and logging into your account. This is so you are ready to start scanning. You can then easily build your list using the scanning function as you explore, as each item in the Townhouse is barcoded.
Can I keep adding to my list after my appointment?
Yes, of course! You can keep adding gifts after your appointment, and right up to, and even beyond, your wedding date.
Is there parking at The Townhouse?
We do have a small number of parking spaces on our driveway at the Townhouse. If you would like to use one we kindly ask you to let us know so we can reserve one for you.
Can I bring my dog into the appointment?
Yes! We are very dog-friendly and would love to meet your furry friend.
Is The Townhouse accessible?
Unfortunately, we don’t have step-free access. There are steps leading into the building, as well as four flights of stairs inside. However, we would love to welcome you to a virtual appointment instead. You will receive the exact same expert recommendations and dedicated service, ensuring you get the absolute best experience creating your wedding gift list from the comfort of your home.
How long is an appointment?
We offer 1 hour or 90-minute appointments when visiting the Townhouse. We recommend a 90-minute appointment if you’re unsure what you need to add to your wedding registry and would like some expert guidance.
How many people can I bring to my appointment?
If your appointment is on a weekend, we recommend two people attending as the Townhouse gets very busy over this time. However, during the week we would be more than happy to discuss accommodating friends or family too. Reach out to your Gift Guru to discuss options and we'll do our best to welcome you all.
