Fun Abstract Flowers
You will need watercolour paint, paper and a black fine liner pen either permanent or water soluble. Mix your colours (reds & oranges combined) and leave. Then with a clean brush paint an abstract shape in water on your paper (no paint). While it’s wet drop you paint into the water and watch it spread. While it’s still wet get a drinking straw and blow areas of the paint to create a splat. Still wet add a tiny bit of black paint to the bottom or the centre of the image and let it bleed. Let it dry naturally. Now get your pen and draw some petal shapes around and beyond the paint and a stem. Be aware if the paints wet and your pen is water soluble it will bleed into the paint.
