Darrell was born in Cortland, NY to Milton Stiles and Loretta Allen on January 14, 1957. He went to school in Bath, New York. He married Donna Dansey on Febru ary 29, 2004. Darrell worked as a stockbroker, equities trader and real estate agent and was a member of the United States Marines. His final position was the job he was most proud of, PopPop daycare for Granddaughter Leah and Grandson Jace. He was a proud Eagle Scout and encouraged scouts to strive for that honor. Darrell served his last tour as a USMC Reservist in 2007 and retired from the US Marine Corps in 2017.

Jean was a talented hairdresser who worked until age 75 because she feared growing old if she retired. She sang for many years in the Centenary United Method ist church choir and the Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes. She loved to dance and listen to the Lawrence Welk show. Jean enjoyed roses, especially red ones, and loved her dogs Stoney and Goliath.

BATH, NEW YORK: Jean Zarudsky Gerych age 102 passed away on September 14, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born in New York City to William and Anna Zarudsky and was the oldest of four children. Jean married William “Bill” Gerych and they eventually moved to Bath. Bill then started the Gerych TV and Appliance store on Route 415. She became a widow at age 45 and was left to raise her two youngest children (ages 5 and 8).

Visitation will be on Monday September 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM 7:00 PM and Tuesday September 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM on Tuesday all at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath. Graveside services will be held in Nondaga Cemetery on Tuesday.

The purpose of the proposed Facility is to generate wind-powered electricity that will provide a significant source of renewable electricity to the New York State power grid. Under the 2019 Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, New York State has committed to generating all electricity from renewable sources by 2040. The proposed Facility will help New York achieve that mandate. The Facility will include the installation and operation of up to 37 wind turbines, together with the associated electrical collection lines (below ground and overhead), access roads, meteorological towers, operation and mainten ance (“O&M”) building, and collector substation. Prattsburgh Wind will also construct a new point of interconnect (“POI”) substation and 230-kV high-voltage loop-in and loopout transmission lines (“NYSEG Facilities”) adjacent to its collector substation. Upon completion, the ownership of these NYSEG Facilities will be transferred over to NYSEG.
