Stamp, 81, died peacefully in her home on ursday, September 7, 2023. She was surrounded by family and her loving dog, Stella.

Darlene Belle Dodds Belle Dodds

AVOCA, NEW YORK: Darlene Belle Dodds, 87 years of age of Avoca, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Vincent House in Wayland.

Darlene was born October 20, 1935, in Bath, New York, the daughter of the late Harold and Myrtle (Dickinson) Billings. She grew up in Avoca, NY and graduated from Avoca Central School.

Nathan was born in Scranton, PA on May 28, 1984. Over the years, he lived in Dalton, PA; Denver, CO; Corning, Hammondsport and East Campbell, NY. He graduated from Corning East High in 2002 and went on to graduate from Corning Community College and Mercyhurst University. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Corning Credit Union as a Senior Mortgage Loan Coordinator. Nathan and his love Ashley were married on July 16, 2016 at 4:19 pm at the Glenwood Club on the shores of Keuka Lake. He loved Keuka Lake, and there are many fond memories of times spent on those waters.

Nathan loved to make people laugh and was always the entertainer of the party. He approached everything with a huge smile and an incredible sense of humor. He treasured his family and friends and, even in his nal days, knew the love shared through a hug. He was an absolute Bills fanatic! Many memories were made at the Bills’ stadium and at home watching games. Nathan also loved, as a kid, "spending weekends with his brother at Grandma’s; going to e Villa; picking berries; and drinking iced tea by the garage”.

Nathan is survived by his wife Ashley; parents Paul and Gail; brother Nicholas (Megan); niece Madelyn; nephew Owen; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends, including Billsy, Jamie, Crew, Cavy, John, Stacy, and Brian. He was predeceased by his loving grandmother Marion Wilson, who has by now reintroduced Nathan to his grandfather, Ellsworth.

A celebration of Nathan’s life will be held on Sunday, October 8th, 2023 from 1-4 pm at JB’s Bar and Grill (10832 Gloades Corners Road, Pulteney, NY. In lieu of owers, donations may be made in Nathan’s memory to the East Campbell Fire Department and the Horseheads Kiwanis Club.

e family would like to extend their thanks to the doctors, nurses, and sta of Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital’s ICU who provided amazing care and compassion to Nathan and the family during his nal days.

Darlene was employed by Westinghouse and retired from North American Phillips. She was also employed as a bus driver and worked in the cafeteria at the Avoca Central School. Darlene enjoyed crocheting, camping and she especially loved baking in her spare time.

Darlene was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Myrtle Billings, her husband Rodney Pragle, St., her husband Robert Dodds, her brothers Maurice, Walter, and Sonny Billings, and her sister Joyce Pyer.

She is survived by her children Andrea (Mike) Nardi of Springwater, Paul (Karen) Pragle and Rodney (Cher Scott) Pragle, Jr. of Avoca; her grandchildren Christopher (Krista) Nardi, Wendy (Ian) Laird, Isaac Pragle, Charles Pragle, Rodney (Amanda Stopka) Pragle III and Irven (Brittany Potter) Pragle; her great grandchildren Olivia Nardi, Raelynn and Rodney Pragle IV, Naomi and Irven Pragle, Jr; her sisters Erma Partridge and Martha Cleland; along with several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends were invited to call from 3:005:00PM on ursday, September 14, 2023 at the Wallace Wesleyan Church, where a funeral service was held in her memory following calling hours at 5:00PM, with Pastor William Spencer o ciating. BATH, NY: William W. Bauer of Bath went to be with our Lord on September 6, 2023 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. His mother and Aunt Sally by his side.

William was born July 24, 1965 in Albion, New York to Robert and Jeanette Bauer. He was their shining star. William loved to draw spaceships, many di erent kinds. He was an avid Star Wars fan, he also liked making model airplanes. William loved music & loved playing his guitar. He is survived by his mother Jeanette Balcer and several aunts and uncles and lots of cousins.

Preceding him in death was his father Robert Bauer and step father Michael Balcer.

Shirley was born in Bath, New York to Gladys Ruth Ferguson Gardiner and George Dewey Gardiner on October 5th, 1941. She was one of sixteen brothers and sisters.

She attended Haverling High School and graduated in 1960. She was employed at the Grants store; Gold Seal and her last employment was at Ira Davenport Hospital before she retired.

Shirley loved all types of owers as anyone can see when driving past her house. She loved her dog Stella who was by her side every minute of the day. She also loved the old-time cowboy TV shows such as Bonanza, Laramie, and the Tales of Wells Fargo.

Shirley is survived by her only remaining sister Sandy Gardiner who resides in Campbell, New York and who was the youngest of the family. Her two daughters and one son; Renee Miller (Pete), Robin Eisele (Kevin) and Troy Galligan. Her seven grandchildren: Kayla Bilger (Dustin), Samantha Miller, Amber Hunter, Alex Galligan, Tammy Wheeler (Tim), Peter Miller Jr (Dawn), Rachel Miller, Danielle Decker (James) Christopher Eisele (Stephanie), Brittany Eisele (Ramsey); nineteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be at the Bath Kingdom Hall on Washington Street extension in Bath, New York at 2:00PM on Saturday, September 23rd.

In lieu of owers, donations can be made to the ASPCA or the Cancer Society in Shirley's name.
