She graduated from Hammondsport Central School Class of 1950. She married her high school sweetheart, George C. Fox of Bath, October 1950. They were married 68 years until his death in 2019. She was active in the Eastern Star, was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution Corning Baron Steuben Chapter, active in the Cohocton Presbyterian Church and the First Presbyterian Church of Bath. Sandra and George resided in Cohocton from 1959 to 1979.
