The Coopers Plains - Long Acres Fire District will be accepting sealed bids for purchase offers on a 1985 GMC HD 3500 TRUCK with an aluminum light rescue body. The unit was originally equipped with a diesel engine which has recently been converted to a new 454 (8.0 liter) engine with less than 700 miles on the new engine.

It is being sold as is, where is and does not have a registration as it has been operated by the Fire Department. We have full history of paperwork but not original origination papers, only copies.

This unit can be seen at 4646 Meads Creek Road.

Access and to hear it run or driven, an appointment must be made with 48 hours notice with Dan Carr, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, contact at 607-654-7229. Bids must be in a sealed envelope and labeled both sides “SEALED BID FOR 1985 GMC.” Bids must be received by 5:00 PM on October 10, 2020.
