We are sad to announce the pass ing of Karen Sue Plott of Henrico, Virginia. Born on 11/11/1965 and graduated from Savona Central School. She passed away at home on March 30, 2023 at the age of 57. e simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Karen, most especially all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed helping others. Karen is survived by her husband, Michael Plott; children, Chris Brandow and Danielle (David) Skidmore; stepchildren, Liana Stringham, Mikey Plott, James Plott, and David Plott; her loving parents, Robert and Carolyn ompson; siblings, Mary and Steven Vogt and Joseph and Linda ompson; all of her grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that might as well have been family. ere will be a celebration of life on June 17 at 1 PM at Gateway Community Church 11 Griswold ST Avoca, NY for family and friends. Following a er the celebration there will be a gathering at 7495 Eagle Valley RD Savona.

BATH, NY: Larry R Ryan from Bath NY, on Friday April 21, 2023 went home to be with our Lord at the age of 82. He is a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and businessman. He was born on July 24, 1940, in Lockport NY, raised in Almond, NY, to Lee and Louise Ryan.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 60 years of marriage, Elizabeth "Betty" Ryan; his son Michael Ryan and spouse Robin, Bath, NY; his daughter Kelly Stewart and spouse Greg, Horseheads, NY; his daughter Colleen Hauryski and spouse Edwin, Bath, NY; and his son Patrick Ryan and spouse Elia, Sterling, Virginia.

He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Lee R. and Louise Ryan; and his brother Lee Arthur Ryan. He is survived by his sister-in-law Donna Ryan, Almond, NY; his sister Linda Cornell and spouse Bruce, Almond, NY; and his brother Dave Ryan spouse Linda, Odessa, NY.

Larry grew up on a farm in Almond, NY, and served in the US Navy for 4 years. He enjoyed time with his family, visiting his extended family and friends, Singing, Dancing, Hiking and traveling to National Parks across our country. He was a successful businessman and a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Bath. In his retirement years

Sue was a member of the Elks, a Girl Scout Leader, Hammondsport Volunteer Ambulance Corp, Board of Election as a Pollster in Hammondsport, Bath and Pulteney.

Sue enjoyed gardening, Antiques, camping, card games and spending time with family. She loved decorating for Christmas.

She was predeceased by her father Richard Para, 2 sisters Linda Para and Christine "Cricket" O'Dell and a son Jamie.

Sue is survived by her mother Shirley Para of Bath, NY, sister Kim Cruse of Bath, NY, her partner of 29 years John Kennedy, son Jeremiah Yartym of Ill., daughter Jessyca Mattison of Bath, NY, grandchildren Ben Veley (Kate) and Elizabeth Veley (Collin), many nieces and nephews and extended family. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 7, 2023 at 2:00pm at Frans Landing County Route 417 Addison, NY.

“Pat” Stowe passed away peacefully at home the morning of Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Merlyn “Pat” Wilson

Stowe was born October 20, 1923, in Hall, New York. He was the middle son of the late Fred M. and Eunice Kelsey Shaut Stowe. Pat graduated from Avoca Central School. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Army in the South Paci c from January 1943 to November 1945. He went to Alford University. On June 26, 1948, he was married to the former Maurine Jane Bauter. Pat was employed at Rochester Gas & Electric Corporation for 39 years retiring in 1985.

Pat and Jane loved traveling and took four cross-country trips driving through all of the lower 48 states with Jane’s parents and their children.

Upon retirement they lived in Avoca, New York, dividing their time between Avoca and North Port, Florida. Pat and Jane were avid golfers and took many trips, RV traveling in the states including a trip to and through Alaska. ey made overseas trips to Australia, New Zealand, England, Wales, Scotland, Spain, Morocco, Turkey and Greece.

Pat's family included his wife of 66 years, Jane; his son, Darren (Wini), their two grandchildren, Christine (Amier) and Madeline, great grandchildren Anthony and Isla, and daughter, Jodie Stowe. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Elton Stowe and Carlton Stowe.

Mr. Reed was born in Savona, NY on February 2, 1941, the son of George K. and Flora (Barkley) Reed. He worked at the Babcock Ladder Co. of Bath, NY and was known as a handyman to his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, shing and the outdoors.

He is survived by his children; Yvonne Reed of Holley, NY, Je rey (Marissa) Reed of Hammondsport, NY and Suzette Reed of Bath, NY, granddaughter Christa Jacobs of Holley, NY, brother Benjamin Reed of Laughlin, NV; sisters, Eldora 'Susie' Horner of Burbank, CA and Cheryl Rinick of Bath, NY and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Reed; brothers Walter Reed and George Reed and his sister Audrey Clark. Family and friends are invited to the calling hours on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 1:00PM - 3:00 PM at Fagan's Funeral Home in Bath. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Almond, NY.
