Nan Louise Anderson, 88, of West Lake Road, Hammondsport, New York, passed away January 14, 2023 at home peacefully with family present.

Nan was born in Bradford, Pennsylvania to Margaret and George LaBorde on May 21, 1934. She went to school at Bradford Area High School where she met and later married her high school sweetheart Kenneth Anderson on August 24, 1957. Nan worked as the Primary Librarian at Hammondsport Central School for 27 years where she was beloved by her colleagues and students. Nan was devoted to the local Women's organization and her card club where she made lifelong friends. Nan is preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert (Cathy) LaBorde.

Nan is survived by her husband Kenneth Anderson, cousin Lee of Bradford, PA daughter Terry Anderson of Sarasota, FL, son Michael (Kathy) Anderson of Berwyn, PA and son David (Barb) Anderson of Half Moon Bay, CA; seven grandchildren who she adored with all her heart: James, Harrison, Chandra, Phillip, Mark, Luke and Eric.

Nan was an avid baker known by family and friends for all types of goodies including the prodigious Congo bars. Nan was proud of her open kitchen known to all as it was not uncommon to have visitors stop by for snacks and laughs.

To honor her wishes there will be no calling hours. e Celebration of Nan's Life will be from 2:00 to 4:00PM, Saturday, April 15th at Hammondsport Central School Auditorium.

BATH, NEW YORK: Chester A. Parulski passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 86, in his hometown of Bath, New York.

Chet is survived by his Life Companion, Barbara Stopka; Children, Karen and Mike Hargrave, Ken Osborn and Carrie Lynch, Cindy and Randy Elliott, Rainy and Mike Brewer, Chet Jr. and Susan Parulski; 17 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sister Zorenia and Ike Houghtaling, brothers David Parulski, Roger and Diana Parulski, In-laws, Doris Barr, Lynn and Becky McCaig, Kathy and Don Bossard, Nieces and Nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Irene Parulski, son Leo Parulski and sister-in-law Ruthie Parulski.

Chet retired from the Bath Central School as support sta . He loved the outdoors; hunting, shing and camping.

PULTENEY, NY: Paul N. Schnipelsky, who was born in London, England on November 20th, 1943 to Louis and Celia Schnipelsky, passed away on Monday, April 3rd, 2023 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Pulteney, NY, where he resided.

He held a PhD in Chemistry and worked in a clinical diagnostic lab for both Kodak and Johnson & Johnson for many years. Paul was a lover of sailing and jazz music, and had a great sense of humor. He was a devoted husband to Claire as well as her best friend of all time. He was a wonderful provider for their children. Paul will always be remembered for his generosity, kindness, and non-judgmental nature. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Claire C. (Wolf) Schnipelsky, along with their daughter, Terri (Alex) Pikacs, and sons, Bill (Christina) and Arthur Schnipelsky. Paul also leaves behind three grandchildren, ve great-grandchildren, and brothers-in-law, James (Lucy) Wolf and George Wolf. Shall the Board of Education establish a capital reserve fund under the provisions of Education Law § 3651(1)?

The purpose of the fund is for construction, repair and reconstruction of capital improvements and the acquisition of equipment.   The ultimate amount of the fund shall be $10,000,000.  The probable term shall be 10 years.  The source from which funds will be obtained can include any or all of the following: incentive aid; non-appropriated fund balances from the general fund as determined by the Board of Education, from time to time; State aid related to expenditures from the capital reserve fund; interest income related to investments of money in the fund and any other additional monies thereafter authorized by the voters of the District.
