Mary P. Shaut, age 88, of Bath, NY died February 17, 2023 at the Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital.
Mary was born on January 21, 1935 in Canaseraga, NY the daughter of Jack and Julia Patterson. She retired from Philip's Lighting in Bath a er 42 years of service.
Mary is survived by her son ane Shaut, daughter Merry Ingraldi, three grandchildren, one great grandchild and her sisters; Elaine Graves and Joyce Dunham.
She was predeceased by her husband eodore Shaut.

BATH, NY: It is with great sadness that the Deming Family announces the death of Ronald R. Deming who went to be with his Lord on February 17, 2023, surrounded by his family. Ronald was born on November 21, 1960, and was a lifelong resident of Bath and Hammondsport.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Kelly (Sisley) Deming and his children; Veronica, Raymond, Jason, Amsey (Nicole), Patrick (Lacy), Casey (Ashley), Cody and Summer. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Ainsley (“Pookie”), Chelsea, Charlie, Bailey, Henry, Addisyn, and Lilly. His brother Stephen Deming and sisters Karen Kuhl, Nancy McKay, Sharon Kuhl and sister in-laws Sue Smith, Kitti Sisley and Kim (Kirk) Weinert also survive. Ron was predeceased in death by his parents Raymond and Velma Deming.
Born in the Bronx on February 6, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Clementina (Packes) Ortman. In 1973, she married the love of her life, George Ayers, who passed in July 2021. Besides her husband and parents, Rita was predeceased by her daughter Michelle.
Rita was employed with Kwik Fill Convenience Stores for 10 years as a cashier. Most recently she worked for ARC Bath, as Direct Support, providing love and care for their clientele.
Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, and most of all her grandchildren. Her grandchildren brought so much joy to her life. She loved spending time with them and all her family.

She is lovingly survived by her son Adam (Molly) Ayers, grandchildren Adrian & Bryan Ayers, of the Bronx; daughter Dianne (Jason) Osmin, grandchildren Aiden & Rita Osmin of Bath; brother John (Chris) Ortman of the Bronx; sister Barbara (Pat) Gunning of Long Island; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 10:00AM-12:00PM ursday (March 2, 2023) at the Bond-Davis Funeral Home, 107 East Steuben Street, Bath. Relatives and friends are invited to join her family for a Funeral Service immediately following at 12:00PM with Pastor Alan Lindmark o ciating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Grove Cemetery, Bath, NY. Arrangements are being handled by Bond-Davis Funeral Home.

PENN YAN, NY: Glynis (Lyn) M. Chadwick (Smith) peacefully passed away February 21, 2023, at Penn Yan Manor Nursing Home.
Lyn was born in Micanopy, FL on February 11, 1934, to Ollie M. Smith and Leila E. (Crisman) Smith. Lyn and her family moved to Dunedin, FL in 1935 where she attended local schools graduating from Clearwater High School in 1952. Lyn attended the Charity Hospital School of Nursing in New Orleans graduating in 1955. She returned to Florida and worked in Clearwater, FL before moving to San Francisco, CA in 1958. Lyn moved back to Florida in 1959 and in 1963 she and her longtime friend Kris spent 6 months in Europe. In 1964 Lyn enlisted in the Air Force. She served as an Air Force nurse until October 1967, serving 18 months in Izmir, Turkey. Lyn received her BSN from the University of Maryland in 1973.
Lyn met omas M. Chadwick in 1979 in Glenora, NY. ey were married in Annapolis, MD on February 7, 1981, and made their home in Hammondsport, NY. Lyn was active in the Presbyterian Church in Hammondsport, the Hammondsport Library and many other community activities. She enjoyed making grape pies, playing bridge, working in their garden, and canning and freezing their produce.
Lyn was loved and will be greatly missed by her brother Barry (Susan) Smith, cousins Barbara (Patrick) Franzese, Carole Pierce, Toni (Rich) Little, Pam (Phillip Crooks) Beers, Tom (Penny) Dempsey, Marilyn Dempsey Cameron, Evelyn (Peter) Vallianos, Deborah Kni n, David (Donna) Dempsey, longtime friend Kris Carter, step-son Roy (Sandy) Hepler, step-daughter Catherine Chadwick, grandchildren Michael (Michelle) Baker, Curtiss (Jeni) Hepler, Christopher (Colleen) Hepler, Kelsey (Jonah) Baldwin-Gerike and Craig Kapp. Great-grandchildren Emerald Baker, Asher and Etta Baldwin-Gerike and Hunter Kapp and many nieces and nephews. Lyn is predeceased by her husband Tom, her parents, brother Wayne, stepdaughter Nancy and dear cousin Carolyn Hewitt.

Services will be at the convenience of the family at Lakemont Cemetery, Lakemont, NY.

Ron led by example, and he was a rm believer that you had to stand for something and that you were only as good as your word. He loved his family above all else. e legacy he leaves behind is remarkable. He gave back to his community his entire life. He was a Police O cer that turned the lives of many young adults around and steered them towards a better path in life. He was the Crime Victims Advocate for Steuben County and helped countless children, adults, and families through crisis, giving them hope and the tools needed to move forward. Ron brought a troubled community together when he was the Bath Town Supervisor. He coached and mentored young children through sports for 15 years always going above and beyond his coaching role. When Ron retired, he became the middle school Crossing Guard where he kept children safe for over a decade. Ron’s dedication to his family and his community was simply amazing.

Calling hours will be Saturday March 4, 2023, from 1:00PM-4:00PM, with a funeral service immediately following at Bond-Davis Funeral Home in Bath, New York. A celebration of life dinner will be held at the VFW, in Bath at 6:00PM.
